A key sheet comprising a key top, a translucent resin film, and a symbol layer. The key top is made of resin and has a top surface and a rear surface. The key top includes a gate corresponding section in a position corresponded to a gate of a mold for injecting resin to form the key top. The translucent resin film is provided over the key top. The symbol layer is disposed to associate with the top surface of the key top. The gate corresponding section is located to prevent that gate corresponding section from being viewed through the symbol layer.

Key sheet

A key top including a resin film, a key top body made of resin and being covered by the resin film except for the rear surface thereof, and a first extending portion extending outward from the peripheral surface of the key top body. A gate mark formed by a mold and a vent mark formed by a mold which are located on the rear surface of the first extending portion. The rear surfaces of the key top body and the first extending portion are flat and located rearward from the rear surface of the resin film.

Key top and method of manufacture

A key top assembly integrated with a film, wherein: a plurality of key tops can be placed inside one frame; and a resin film which connects the body of a circumferential outer key top to the body of a core key top placed inside the body of the above-mentioned outer key top is formed into a bent shape at a position lower than the lower ends of the areas where the resin film is bonded to the bodies of the key tops, or the interior portion of the base of the body of the outer key top is cut out with the result that that the interior portion of the base is formed at a position higher than that of the exterior portion of the base; and whereby: the clearance between the key tops is rendered small; no key top interlocks with any adjacent key top; and a good appearance is presented.

Key top assembly integrated with a film

The present invention is a key sheet comprising a resin film wherein a mirror-like evaporation deposit layer is provided on a part or all of the back, and further a colored layer is provided at the back of the evaporation deposit layer, said resin film is integrated with the top face side of a button made of resin, allowing to realize a key sheet having all color metallic tones at a low cost, by making the optical concentration of the laminated portion of resin film and evaporation deposit layer 0.35 to 0.85.

A film integrated key top made by linking a plurality of key tops with a resin film, wherein the resin film linking key tops is formed bending more downward than the lower end of a pasted section with the key top body, the miniaturized film integrated key top allowing to reduce key top interval, prevent adjacent key tops from working together, and present a fine appearance.

A manufacturing method for key tops includes the steps of molding a light-shielding film on a to-be-peeled shield by a plane printing, effecting colored printing to provide a readout part at a predetermined position on it in the state of a plane sheet prior to the 3-D molding, then sucking a printed light-shield film sheet on a metal mold with an evacuation system, adsorbing said light-shield film sheet onto the wall face in the metal mold. A push mold may be used with a suction system so as to be positioned in the female mold. Materials such as silicone are put into this metal mold for one-piece molding. A laser processing is effected on the surface of a key top prepared in a 3-D shape to form a desired pattern. By making the light-shield printing and pattern printing in the state of a plane sheet prior to the 3-D molding and effecting only a pattern processing by laser cut in the state of a stereographic shape, a laborious coating has been omitted which also results in improved accuracy of printing and at the same time a reduced number of steps.
