A radio wave status indicating apparatus is provided, the radio wave status indicating apparatus comprising: a radio wave intensity receiving unit that receives, from a communication apparatus, incoming radio wave intensity of the communication apparatus; a positional information acquiring unit that acquires positional information indicating a position of the communication apparatus; an expected value acquiring unit that acquires an expected value of incoming radio wave intensity at a position indicated by the positional information; a radio wave intensity comparing unit that compares the incoming radio wave intensity received by the radio wave intensity receiving unit with the expected value acquired by the expected value acquiring unit; and an indication information transmitting unit that transmits indication information based on a result of comparison by the radio wave intensity comparing unit to at least one of the communication apparatus and a communication terminal pre-registered in the communication apparatus.

Even if a relay apparatus such as a mobile router indicates the radio wave reception intensity as low, medium, and high levels, a user using the relay apparatus such as a mobile router cannot recognize that the communication quality is lowered because the radio wave reception intensity is too high. A relay apparatus that relays wireless communication between a communication terminal and a base station is provided, the relay apparatus comprising: a first communication quality acquiring unit that acquires first communication quality of communication with the base station; a first communication quality indicating unit that indicates the first communication quality acquired by the first communication quality acquiring unit; a reception intensity acquiring unit that acquires reception intensity of a radio wave received from the base station; and a reception intensity indicating unit that indicates that the reception intensity acquired by the reception intensity acquiring unit has exceeded a predetermined threshold.

Relay apparatus and computer-readable recording medium

Optical equipment capable of stopping a lens in a position producing no image blur and requiring low power consumption is provided. The optical equipment includes a lens driving unit for driving a focusing lens. The equipment further includes a drive-setting unit configured to set an optimal drive amount for positioning the focusing lens at an appropriate focal depth while minimizing the amount of power consumed in the process. The optical equipment includes a lens position-control unit that controls the lens driving unit based on the drive amount set by the drive-setting unit controlling the movement of the focusing lens. The lens position-control unit can stop the lens in a position producing no image blur and requiring low power consumption.

Optical equipment

An imaging device is provided that includes a camera body, a lens barrel, a lens barrel information transmitter, and an image sensor driver. The image sensor is housed in the camera body. The lens barrel is attachable to and detachable from the camera body. The lens barrel information transmitter regularly transmits information of the lens barrel to the camera body. The image sensor driver drives the image sensor at one of at least two different frame rates where a second frame rate is higher than a first frame rate. The amount of data being transmitted is reduced by the lens barrel information transmitter when the image sensor is driven at the second frame rate, compared to the amount transmitted when the image sensor is driven at the first frame rate.

Imaging device with lens barrell information communications

A shutter control device that uses an imaging device provided in a camera body to operate a shutter housed in a lens barrel to perform photography. The shutter control device comprises a communication port and a shutter control unit. The communication port is provided for transmitting and receiving signals between the camera body and the lens barrel. The shutter control unit is provided in the camera body, and outputs a shutter control signal to operate the shutter. The shutter control signal is transmitted to the lens barrel through the communication port.

Shutter control device

Optical equipment which can prevent image blurring and enable a lens to be stopped in a position requiring low power consumption is provided. The optical equipment includes a lens driver supplied with electric power from a camera body to drive a focusing lens. The equipment further includes an aperture driver that drives an aperture and a drive controller that positions the focusing lens to minimize power consumption and controls the aperture driver during opening of the aperture so that the focal position of the focusing lens falls within a focal depth. In this way, a lens position-controller that controls an AF motor can stop the lens in a position that does not cause image blur and reduces power consumption.

A shutter control device performs photography by operating a shutter housed in a lens barrel, and comprises a communication port, a shutter control unit and a memory. The communication port transmits and receives signals between the camera body and the lens barrel. The shutter control unit is provided in the camera body to output a shutter control signal. The memory is provided in the lens barrel to store shutter delay information regarding a time delay from when the shutter control signal is input to the lens barrel until when the shutter is closed. The shutter control unit receives the shutter delay information from the lens barrel and transmits the shutter control signal to the lens barrel through the communication port, ahead of an exposure time as determined by photometry, by an amount of time equal to the time delay.
