There is provided a conveying device that can support a car weight with a mechanism lighter in weight. A driving device () of a conveying device that lifts and lowers a loading-weight support along a rail () includes a wheel unit () and a link (). The wheel unit () drives to rotate a driving wheel () in contact with a guide surface () to lift and lower the loading-weight support. The link () includes a first joint () connected to the wheel unit () and a second joint () rotatably supported by the loading-weight support. The second joint () is arranged in a position further apart from the guide surface () than the first joint (), and above the first joint (). The link () is arranged such that a straight line connecting the first joint () and the second joint () is tilted smaller than 45 degrees.

Conveying device

In a safety gear for an elevator, a pressing spring device applies a resistance force against movement of a normal-wedge guide member in a direction of moving away from a guide rail. A normal-wedge member has a reverse-wedge guide surface becoming more distant from the guide rail as extending upward. A reverse-wedge member is movable with respect to the normal-wedge member along the reverse-wedge guide surface. A vertical-direction spring device applies a resistance force against upward movement of the reverse-wedge member with respect to the normal-wedge member. A spring constant of the vertical-direction spring device is lower than a spring constant of the pressing spring device. The vertical-direction spring device has a region in which a rate of change in force generated along with increase in upward displacement amount of the reverse-wedge member with respect to the normal-wedge member decreases as compared to that in initial displacement.

Safety gear for an elevator

An elevator device including on-car presence detection units, each being configured to detect presence of a person on top of a corresponding one of cars, on-car operation panels, each to be operated for a manual operation of the corresponding one of cars, and an elevator control device including a car operation approval unit configured to approve or cancel the operation on the on-car operation panels. When the on-car presence detection units have detected the presence of persons on top of the plurality of cars, the operation on the on-car operation panels of all the cars is canceled by the car operation approval unit. When the on-car presence detection unit has detected the presence of a person on top of one of the plurality of cars, the car operation approval unit approves the operation on the on-car operation panel of any one of the plurality of cars.

Elevator device

An elevator emergency safety device includes: a damper that includes a first sliding surface, and that is pressed against a guide rail to generate a braking force; a movable member that includes a second sliding surface that contacts the first sliding surface; and an elastic body that applies to the first sliding surface a pressing force that presses the damper against the guide rail, wherein: the damper is configured so as to be movable in a vertical direction relative to the movable member by the first and second sliding surfaces sliding; and the elastic body is configured such that the pressing force Fincreases, reaches a maximum value, and then decreases, as a position of a contacting portion between the first and second sliding surfaces moves upward.

Elevator safety device and elevator system

A switchgear includes a stationary contact, a movable contact able to be shifted between a closed position and an opened position, an electromagnetic actuator able to generate power for shifting the movable contact, the electromagnetic actuator including a stator and a movable element, and a power transmission unit able to shift the movable contact, and to press the movable contact against the stationary contact. The power transmission unit includes a drive unit-side spring bearing portion able to be shifted together with the movable element, a contact-side spring bearing portion to be opposed to the drive unit-side spring bearing portion, and able to be shifted together with the movable contact, and a spring member provided between the drive unit-side spring bearing portion and the contact-side spring bearing portion.

Opening and closing device

In a multi-car elevator, if two vertically adjacent cars among the cars are designated first and second cars, then: a zone that is a distance in which the second car can be stopped in response to an abnormality, and into which the first car is not permitted to enter is set as an exclusion zone of the second car; a position before which it is necessary for the first car to stop is set as a stopping limit position of the first car; and a plurality of threshold values that progressively detect the abnormal approach are set so as to enable the first car to decelerate and stop before the stopping limit position of the first car.

Multi-car elevator using an exclusion zone and preventing inter-car collision

In a multi-car elevator, when two adjacent cars travel in a like direction, an elevator controlling apparatus: determines a shortest stopping position that is a stopping position at which a leading car stops in a shortest stopping distance from its present position; determines an estimated stopping position that is a stopping position of a trailing car if the trailing car is stopped urgently when the trailing car deviates from a speed change path for stopping using decelerating control by the elevator controlling apparatus from its present position and approaches the leading car; and controls a separating distance between the leading car and the trailing car such that the estimated stopping position is before the shortest stopping position.
