A secondary battery includes an outer package member, a battery device, a positive electrode terminal, a negative electrode terminal, and a fixing member. The outer package member has flexibility. The battery device has an elongated shape, and is contained inside the outer package member. The battery device includes a positive electrode and a negative electrode. The positive electrode terminal is coupled to the positive electrode, and is led out to an outside of the outer package member. The negative electrode terminal is coupled to the negative electrode, and is led out to the outside of the outer package member. The fixing member is disposed between the outer package member and the battery device, and is adhered to each of the outer package member and the battery device. The positive electrode and the negative electrode are opposed to each other and are wound in a first direction.

The secondary battery includes an electrolytic solution, a positive electrode and a negative electrode, and the negative electrode includes a plurality of particulate negative electrode active materials, a first negative electrode binder, and a plurality of second negative electrode binders with an average particle size smaller than the plurality of particulate negative electrode active materials. A secondary battery includes: a cathode and an anode that are opposed to each other with a separator in between; and an electrolytic solution. The cathode includes a cathode active material layer on a cathode current collector. The anode includes an anode active material layer on an anode current collector. A heat-resistant layer is provided at least in a region in which the cathode active material layer and the anode active material layer are opposed to each other between the cathode and the anode. The heat-resistant layer includes a material having a higher melting point or higher decomposition temperature than a melting point or decomposition temperature of the separator. The electrolytic solution includes an unsaturated cyclic ester carbonate.
