A photocurable adhesive composition for glass is disclosed, comprising (A) 100 parts by weight of a polyorganosiloxane having an average compositional formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group except for a vinyl group; 0&lt;a.ltoreq.1; 0&lt;b.ltoreq.2; and 1&lt;a+b&lt;3, (B) from 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of an aromatic ketone photo reaction initiator, and (c) from 0.1 to 5 parts by weight of a trialkenyl isocyanurate or a derivative thereof. The composition, when applied between glass plates or between a glass plate and other materials, can be cured with a small curing shrinkage by short-term irradiation of light transmitted by the glass plate. The cured composition exhibits satisfactory adhesion and excellent resistance to moisture and heat.

There is provided herein a curable silicone elastomer composition comprising the following components: (A) 100 parts by weight of a polyorganosiloxane having at least two silicon-bonded vinyl groups per molecule, (B) 1 to 300 parts by weight of fine powders of tungsten carbide and (C) a component for crosslinking of said component (A) selected from the group consisting of (1) a combination of (a) 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of a polyorganohydrogensiloxane having an average of at least two silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms per molecule and (b) 0.000001 to 0.1 part by weight of a platinum catalyst; (2) a combination of said (a), (b) and (c) 0.00001 part to less than 0.1 part by weight of an organic peroxide except from organohydroperoxide; (3) a combination of said (a) and (d) 0.00001 part to less than 0.2 part by weight of the reaction product between said (b) and (c); and (4) 0.1 to 3.0 parts by weight of an organic peroxide except from organohydroperoxide. The composition according to the present invention shows excellent X-xay shielding effect as well as excellent anticoagulative effect, and can give an elastomer of high quality by curing with a broad scope of catalyst systems.

A heat-curable polysiloxane composition comprised of polydiorganosiloxane having at least 2 vinyl groups and polyorganohydrogensiloxane having at least 2 hydrogen atoms, and containing, as a catalyst, a platinum compound and a phosphorus compound or complex thereof, together with an organic peroxide compound which has no hydroperoxy group in the molecule.

Heat-curable polysiloxane composition

A curable silicone composition comprising 100 parts by weight of polyorganosiloxane containing at least 2 vinyl radicals bonded to silicon atom(s) in the molecule 0.1-10 parts by weight of polyorganohydrogensiloxane containing more than 2 hydrogen atoms bonded to silicon atom(s), on the average, in the molecule, 5-500 parts by weight of fine powder of a transition metal, and a catalytic amount of a platinum catalyst containing no halogen atoms in the molecule.

Curable composition

A heat vulcanizable silicone rubber composition which is capable of being extruded by an extruder and vulcanized by hot air comprising a gum, silica filler and organohydrogenpolysiloxane and as the curing catalyst a combination of an aromatic acylorganicperoxide and an alkylorganicperoxide. The advantage of the above composition is that it can be vulcanized by hot air and the cured product is not sticky.
