[PROBLEMS] It is an object of the present invention to provide a heat-shrinkable polyester-based film roll which can reduce defects caused during a heat shrinking step due to the variation of a heat shrinkage rate in the heat-shrinkable polyester-based film roll having the longitudinal direction as the main shrinkage direction, specifically, defects of the film when covering an object by a wrap-around method and heat-shrunk. [SOLUTIONS] A heat-shrinkable polyester-based film roll, comprising a core; and a heat-shrinkable polyester-based film having a longitudinal direction as a main shrinkage direction that is wound around the core; wherein the film (roll) satisfy predetermined polyester composition, and all samples cutout every about 100 m have a heat shrinkage rate measured by immersion in hot water of 90° C. for 10 seconds of 30% or more and 80% or less and ±3% or less of an average in the longitudinal direction.

Heat-shrinkable polyester-based film roll

The present invention aims to provide a heat-shrinkable polyester film roll having decreased generation of wrinkles or longitudinal shrink mark. The present invention provides a film roll of a heat shrinkable polyester film, wherein a polyester of the polyester film contains recycled raw material from a PET bottle and an acid component of the polyester comprises isophthalic acid, and the film roll satisfies a specific average value of a shrinkage, specific isophthalic acid ratio, and specific thickness unevenness.

The invention provides a biaxially oriented polyester film, which exhibits excellent transparency, is easily subjected to secondary processing, is an environmentally friendly polyester film, and has little variations in physical properties in the machine direction, and a production method therefor. The biaxially oriented polyester film is formed of a polyester resin composition containing particles and 50% by weight or more of a polyester resin composed of biomass-derived ethylene glycol and fossil fuel-derived dicarboxylic acid units, wherein at least one surface of the biaxially oriented polyester film meets requirements (1) to (3): (1) a number of fine protrusions each having a height of less than 3 nm per area of 4×10mis 250-600; (2) a number of fine protrusions each having a height of 3 nm or more per area of 4×10mis 300-600; and (3) an arithmetic mean height Sa is 0.010-0.025 μm.

Biaxially oriented polyester film and production method therefor

Disclosed is a biaxially oriented polyester film that is superior in transparency and easy to perform secondary processing such as coating and vapor deposition, and satisfies performance after the secondary processing. The biaxially oriented polyester film consists of a polyester resin composition including particles, and at least one surface of the film satisfies all of the following requirements (1) to (3): (1) the number of micro protrusions having a height of less than 3 nm per an area of 4×10mof 250 or more and 600 or less; (2) the number of micro protrusions having a height of 3 nm or more per an area of 4×10mof 300 or more and 600 or less; and (3) an arithmetic average height Sa of 0.010 μm or more and 0.025 μm or less.

Biaxially oriented polyester film

To provide a biaxially oriented polyester film that has extremely low content of antimony, excellent hygiene, few foreign substances, excellent transparency and heat resistance, and is excellent in printability, workability, and productivity. A biaxially oriented polyester film characterized by a content of antimony in the film of 10 ppm or less, a content of phosphorus in the film of 25 ppm or more and 75 ppm or less, an intrinsic viscosity of the film of 0.51 dl/g or more and 0.70 dl/g or less, and a number of defects with a size of 1 mm or more is 1.0 or less per 1000 square meters of the film.

A heat-shrinkable polyester film that has (1) a hot-water heat shrinkage of 40% or more in a main shrinkage direction of the film when immersed in hot water of 98° C. for 10 seconds; (2) a planar orientation coefficient of 0.035-0.070; (3) ethylene terephthalate as a main constituent component and 6-25 mol % diethylene glycol (DEG) constituent in 100 mol % of polyhydric alcohol in all the polyester resin constituting the film; (4) a maximum shrinkage stress of 2-17 MPa in the main shrinkage direction of the film when measured in hot air of 90° C.; and (5) a tensile elongation at break of 20% or more in a direction orthogonal to the main shrinkage direction after the film is aged in an atmosphere with an atmospheric temperature of 40° C. and a relative humidity of 85% for 28 days.

Heat-shrinkable polyester film

The invention provides a heat-shrinkable polyester film roll obtained by winding a heat-shrinkable polyester film on a paper tube with primary shrinkage in the longitudinal direction and a shrinkage rate of 40% or more, wherein the film has a winding length of 1000 to 30000 m, a width of 50 to 1500 mm, and a thickness of 5-30 μm, the thickness irregularity of the film roll in the width direction is 20% or less, the paper tube has an inner diameter of 3 inches with a 0.5 mm or less difference in clearance and a 1700 N/100 mm or more flat compressive strength in the width direction after the film is removed from the film roll, the mean value of the winding hardness of the surface layer part of the film roll in the width direction is 500-850, and the natural shrinkage rate in the longitudinal direction is 2.0% or less.

Film roll of heat-shrinkable polyester

The invention provides a heat-shrinkable polyester-based film containing 90 mol % or more of ethylene terephthalate unit based on 100 mol % of whole ester unit, wherein at least a part of ethylene glycol and/or terephthalic acid constituting the ethylene terephthalate unit is derived from biomass resource or the heat-shrinkable polyester-based film contains polyester resin recycled from PET bottles, and the heat-shrinkable polyester-based film satisfies the requirements: (1) heat-shrinkage ratio in a width direction measured by shrinking the film for 10 seconds in 90° C. hot water is 50%-75%, (2) heat-shrinkage ratio in a longitudinal direction measured by shrinking the film for 10 seconds in 90° C. hot water is −6% or more and 14% or less, (3) heat-shrinkage ratio in the longitudinal direction measured by shrinking the film for 10 seconds in 70° C. hot water is −6% or more and 6% or less, and (4) irregularity of thickness in the width direction is 1%-20%.

Heat-shrinkable polyester-based film

A polyolefin-based film comprising at least one layer permitting printing as a result of laser irradiation; wherein not less than 100 ppm but not greater than 3000 ppm of pigment permitting printing as a result of laser irradiation is present in all layers of the film; haze thereof is not less than 1% but not greater than 30%; and unevenness in thickness thereof in either a machine direction or a transverse direction is not less than 0.1% but not greater than 25%. An object is to provide a film capable of being printed in distinct fashion by a laser, that excels with respect to unevenness in thickness, and that is of high transparency, and at the same time provide packaging which employs such film and on which printing has been directly carried out.

Laser-printable film and packaging in which same is used

The invention provides a polyester sealant film having at least one of a heat sealing layer and a heat resistant layer, wherein each layer consists of a polyester component containing ethylene terephthalate. The polyester sealant film has (1) a heat sealing strength of the heat sealing layers of 8-20 N/15 mm; (2) a difference in reversible heat capacity (ΔCp) for the heat sealing layer of 0.5-1.1 J/g/K; (3) a ΔCp for the heat resistant layer of 0.1 to less than 0.6 J/g/K; (4) a fold holding angle of 20-60 degrees; (5) a smaller curvature radius of 50-300 mm in a longitudinal or widthwise direction; and (6) a heat shrinkage ratio of −5% to 5% in both longitudinal and widthwise directions. The invention also provides a laminate comprising at least one layer of the polyester sealant and a packaging bag comprising the laminate.

[Problem] To provide a heat-shrinkable polyester film having excellent shrink finishing property due to the film's sufficient heat shrinkability and low shrinkage stress in the longitudinal direction, small change in the non-shrinkable direction of the film. [Solution] The heat-shrinkable polyester film which heat-shrinks in the longitudinal direction and satisfying the following (1) to (6); (1) having a shrinkage of 35% to 70% in the longitudinal direction; (2) having a shrinkage of −8% to 7% in the width direction; (3) having a change rate of 5% to 22% when fixed in the longitudinal direction with fixed-length; (4) having a change rate of 5% to 20% in the width direction when fixed with 10% of slack in the longitudinal direction; (5) having a maximum shrinkage stress of 5 MPa to 15 MPa in the longitudinal direction; (6) having a stress at 10% elongation, F10, of 1 MPa to 5 MPa in the longitudinal direction and 0.5 MPa to 3 MPa in the width direction.

Heat-shrinkable polyester film having longitudinal (lengthwise) direction as main shrinkage direction

Disclosed is a biaxially oriented polyester film that is excellent in adhesiveness with a metal layer etc., and excellent in deep drawability for an isotropic shape, such as a square shape. A biaxially oriented polyester film having at least a base layer and an adhesive layer each of which contains a polyester as a main component, the film satisfying the following requirements (1) to (3): (1) a difference between reversible heat capacity difference (ΔCp) at around glass transition temperatures of the adhesive layer and the base layer is not smaller than 0.10 and not larger than 0.45; (2) a molecular orientation ratio measured by using a molecular orientation meter is higher than 1.2; and (3) a stress at 10% elongation (F10) in each of a machine and transverse direction is not lower than 90 MPa and not higher than 160 MPa.

Biaxially oriented polyester film and laminated body

The present invention is to provide a method for producing a biaxially oriented polyester film that is superior in mechanical properties, transparency, and heat resistance, and at the same time, superior in secondary processing suitability and printing appearance. Disclosed is a biaxially oriented polyester film, having at least one surface satisfying the following requirements (1) and (2), and the film satisfying the following requirements (3) and (4). (1) A maximum peak height roughness (SRp) is 1.2 μm to 1.6 μm. (2) An arithmetic average roughness (SRa) is 0.024 μm to 0.045 μm. (3) A tensile strength in a longitudinal direction and a width direction is 180 MPa to 300 MPa. (4) A haze is 7% or less.

Biaxially oriented polyester film and method for producing same

[PROBLEM] To provide a packaging and a display material which permit printing in distinct fashion by a laser, and which are of high transparency. [SOLUTION MEANS] A display material having at least one layer permitting printing as a result of laser irradiation, the display material being such that the printing occurs due to change in color caused by the laser irradiation in at least one region of said layer; when a digital microscope is used to carry out cross-sectional observation of said printed region and a nonprinted region, a significant difference in at least any one of RGB values indicating color elements is observed; and thickness of said printed region is not less than 5 μm but not greater than 200 μm.

Display material on which laser printing has been carried out and packaging employing same

A display body characterized in that there is at least one white printing layer permitting printing by means of laser irradiation; said white printing layer has a nonprinted region and a printed region at which laser printing has been carried out; and (1) through (3) are satisfied. (1) An absolute value of a difference in color L* values between the printed region and the nonprinted region is not less than 1.0 but not greater than 10.0. (2) Total luminous transmittance of the nonprinted region is not less than 8% but not greater than 50%. (3) Fractional decrease in thickness of the printed region in a cross-sectional direction is not less than 1 vol % but not greater than 80 vol % of that of the nonprinted region. A high-quality display body, with high productivity is provided.
