An electronic endoscope system that acquires an ultrasonic image, and the electronic endoscope system includes: an electronic endoscope including, an image sensor that captures an image of a biological tissue, and an ultrasonic probe that applies ultrasonic waves to the biological tissue to obtain an echo signal; a captured image processor including an image processing unit that processes an imaging signal output from the image sensor and generates a captured image; and an ultrasonic image processor including an ultrasonic image processing unit that processes the echo signal output from the ultrasonic probe and generates an ultrasonic image, a frequency band detection unit that detects a frequency band of a noise component included in the echo signal and equal to or higher than a preset threshold level, and a filter processing unit that performs filter processing on the echo signal such that a signal in the detected frequency band is attenuated.

An electronic endoscope system includes: an electronic endoscope including, at a distal end portion, an image sensor that captures an image of a living tissue, and an ultrasound probe that applies ultrasonic waves to the living tissue to obtain an echo signal; a captured image processor including an image processing unit that processes an imaging signal output from the image sensor and generates a captured image; and an ultrasonic image processor including an ultrasonic image processing unit that processes the echo signal output from the ultrasound probe and generates an ultrasonic image, a noise detection unit that detects a periodic noise component included in the echo signal and generated at a level equal to or higher than a preset threshold level, and a noise suppression unit that performs processing of suppressing the detected noise component.

Electronic endoscope system

An electronic endoscope system according to a first embodiment includes an electronic endoscope, a captured image processor, and an ultrasonic image processor. The electronic endoscope has, at a distal tip thereof, an image sensor, and an ultrasonic probe that repeatedly applies ultrasonic waves to sequentially obtain echo signals. The ultrasonic image processor has a noise detection unit that detects a noise component which is contained in a first echo signal among the echo signals and which is periodically generated at or above a preset threshold level, and a noise inhibition unit that generates a noise inhibition component which, by being added to a second echo signal outputted after the first echo signal, inhibits generation of the noise component in the second echo signal, and that adds the noise inhibition component to the second echo signal.

An electronic endoscope system has an image sensor driver configured to read one line's worth of image-pixel signals in order; at least four line memories configured to store one line's worth of image-pixel signals, respectively; and an interpolation processor that interpolates image-pixel signals of interpolated scanning lines to generate an enlarged image. The interpolation processor generates one line's worth of interpolated image-pixel signals based on image-pixel signals that are stored in the line memories. The image sensor driver reading one line's worth of image-pixel signals intermittently, and the interpolation processor suspends a writing of image-pixel signals that are stored in the line memories in accordance to a suspension of the outputting of the one line's worth of image-pixel signals from the image sensor.

In a vehicle control apparatus that cuts off fuel supply during deceleration and engages a lockup clutch, it is determined whether a condition that enables to reduce load of the generator is established, and a desired power generation value of the generator is set to a first voltage value and a disengaging vehicle speed at which the lockup clutch is to be disengaged is set to a first vehicle speed when it is determined that the condition is not established, while the desired power generation value of the generator is set to a second voltage value that is determined based on a detected vehicle speed and the disengaging vehicle speed is set to a second vehicle speed that is lower than the first vehicle speed when it is determined that the condition is established, thereby enhancing fuel consumption performance and giving appropriate performance.

A method and apparatus for acquiring a magnetic resonance image representing a surface anatomy of an object, the method comprising the steps of setting a surface coil near the head of a subject, executing a predetermined pulse sequence for selecting magnetic resonance signals from protons inside the head, thereby applying a static magnetic field, gradient magnetic field, and a radio frequency pulse, detecting the magnetic resonance signals from protons by using the surface coil in accordance with the predetermined pulse sequence, reconstructing an image representing the brain surface anatomy of the subject utilizing the detected magnetic resonance signals, and displaying the image in gray scale so that the distribution of the protons is displayed in black level in proportion to the density thereof.

Magnetic resonance imaging method and apparatus reversing white and black

In one encoding process of MRI, a pulse sequence by a multi-echo method is executed to acquire first and second MR signals of a predetermined slice. A pulse sequence with a shorter echo time is executed by exciting the slice, thus acquiring a third MR signal. In this case, when an echo time and a repetition time are changed, the first MR signal becomes a signal with an emphasized atomic nuclear density, the second MR signal becomes a signal with an emphasized transverse relaxation time T2, and the third MR signal becomes a signal with an emphasized longitudinal relaxation time T1.

Method and system for controlling magnetic resonance signal acquisition

A magnetic resonance imaging system comprises a static field generating section, a gradient field applying section, a high-frequency pulse applying section, a sequence control section, a receiving section, and an imaging processing section. The sequence control section includes a first echo excitation section for sequentially applying a 90.degree. pulse and a 180.degree. pulse to the object, thereby generating a first magnetic resonance echo signal, a second echo excitation section for applying a 180.degree. pulse once again after the first magnetic resonance echo signal is generated, thereby generating a second magnetic resonance echo signal, and a compensating section for applying a gradient magnetic field to the object in accordance with a predetermined sequence pattern, between the first magnetic resonance echo signal and the second magnetic resonance echo signal, thereby causing the phase of a magnetic resonance echo signal corresponding to a specific moving atomic nucleus to match with the phase of a magnetic resonance echo signal corresponding to a specific static atomic nucleus at a time instance corresponding to a peak of the second echo signal.
