A road map management system is provided as follows: drawing a past-direction distribution map (Image A) and a future-direction distribution map (Image B) using multiple vehicles' traveling position data collected via a wide area network during a past-direction data collection period and a future-direction data collection period, respectively; comparing the two distribution maps to extract a differential distribution; defining under a predetermined condition as a recently opened or closed road the differential distribution, which is absent from Image A and present in Image B, or present in Image A and absent from Image B, respectively; and reflecting the defined results on the existing road map data to update.

Road map management system

Disclosed is a method for producing an optical member having excellent optical characteristics. An optical member is composed of a support plate and an optical sheet stuck on said plate via an optical adhesive. The optical adhesive is made sticky after it is coated, including ultraviolet-curing adhesives, epoxy adhesives and their mixtures. To produce the optical member, the optical sheet is formed on the surface of a fixed substrate via a transfer film. The optical adhesive is coated onto the optical sheet, the adhesive is made sticky on the sheet, the fixed substrate is peeled off, the sheet is stuck onto the support plate using the adhesive, and the adhesive is cured.

Method for producing optical member

In an apparatus for detecting a property of a liquid, light is emitted from a light emitting element towards an interface between a liquid to be measured and a prism in an interface channel. Reflected light from the interface is received by a light receiving device, and a refractive index of the liquid is obtained from the total reflection critical angle. A cleaning member capable of contacting the interface by the flow of the liquid is provided. The cleaning member may be a small body or a floating member, a tape/string member having one end fixed to a channel wall, or a wiper swingable by the flow of the liquid.

Apparatus for detecting a property of a liquid

A hologram plate manufacturing apparatus comprising a copying optical element disposed in opposed relation to a photosensitive surface of a hologram plate. The copying optical element is arranged so that its one surface facing the photosensitive surface of the hologram plate has a plane configuration and its other surface has a convex or concave configuration. On the convex or concave surface there is formed a reflection film for effectively reflecting incident light. Also included a refraction index adjusting layer which is provided between the photosensitive surface of the hologram plate and the convex or concave surface of the copying optical element, the refraction index adjusting layer having an index of refraction substantially equal to indexes of refraction of the hologram plate and the copying optical element. Further, a prism is disposed in opposed relation to the incident surface of the hologram plate and arranged such that light incident on the incident surface of the hologram plate and reflected on the reflection film is not re-reflected on the incident surface of the hologram plate so as not to be directed toward the hologram plate. This arrangement can suppress generation of noise images due to unnecessary reflection.
