A connector assembly involving a plug connector that incorporates a photoelectric conversion element that conducts optical/electrical and electrical/optical signal conversion, and an actuation device that drives said photoelectric conversion element, and a receptacle connector mated with said plug connector, with the plug connector and the receptacle connector being electrically connected through mutual contact between terminals, wherein, in the plug connector, the front end side of a fiber optic cable used for optical signal transmission is connected to the rear end side of said plug connector and extends from the rear, lateral terminals are arranged in each of a pair of lateral edge portions that extend in the forward-backward direction, while end terminals are arranged in a front end edge portionthat extends perpendicular to the forward-backward direction.

Connector assembly

A mobile image pickup device includes an imaging unit (), an acceleration and angular velocity detecting unit, a processing unit that processes acceleration and angular velocity information which is detected by the acceleration and angular velocity detecting unit, a reaction wheel that rotates based on a command value which is calculated by the processing unit, and a housing () that accommodates the imaging unit (), the acceleration and angular velocity detecting unit, the processing unit, and the reaction wheel therein.

Mobile image pickup device

A connector assembly arrangement comprising, disposed on the faces of a circuit board in an electronic device, connector assemblies which, along with having a plug connector that incorporates a photoelectric conversion element capable of converting optical signals and electrical signals from one to the other and a receptacle connector with which said plug connector is mated, have the plug connector and the receptacle connector electrically connected through mutual contact between terminals; wherein the plug connector, from which a fiber optic cable for optical signal transmission that is connected to the photoelectric conversion element extends in one direction from said plug connector, also has terminals connected to the above-mentioned photoelectric conversion element; the fiber optic cable is a single fiber optic cable; and a plurality of connector assemblies are disposed on at least one of the two faces of the circuit board.

Connector assembly arrangement

A paint drying device where leakage of air between a drying chamber and a driving section accommodating chamber is prevented reliably. In the paint drying device in which the drying chamber and the driving section accommodating chamber communicate with each other via a through hole through which a power transmission tool extends, there are provided an air feeding passage for feeding air present outside the drying chamber to the driving section accommodating chamber by an air feeding fan and an exhaust passage for discharging air in the driving section accommodating chamber to the outside of the drying chamber by an exhaust fan. An air amount adjustment device is provided for adjusting a ratio between an amount of air to be fed to the driving section accommodating chamber via the air feeding passage and an amount of air to be discharged from the driving section accommodating chamber via the exhaust passage.

Paint drying device

In the plug connector, the front end side of a fiber optic cable used for optical signal transmission is connected to, and rearwardly extends from, the rear end side of said plug connector and lateral terminals are arranged in each of a pair of lateral edge portions that extend in the forward-backward direction; at least one of the plug connector and receptacle connector has provided therein resilient members that generate a biasing force between the plug connector and receptacle connector in the forward-backward direction; and, a restricting portion, which provides a limiting value for the distance of relative displacement of the plug connector with respect to the receptacle connector in the direction of the biasing force under the action of the above-mentioned biasing force, is formed in the receptacle connector, and a restricted portion is formed in the plug connector.

An electrical connector includes a housing and a plurality of terminals disposed in the housing. The housing includes a bottom wall and a protruding wall. The terminal includes a held portion for being held in the housing, a base portion, a transition portion, an elastic arm portion and a contact portion. The protruding wall includes a plurality of vertical wall portions and a displacement receiving recess. The housing has an opening penetrating the bottom wall at least at a lower side of the displacement receiving recess. The displacement receiving recess communicates with the opening. Further, the base portion and the transition portion of the terminal are situated outside of the displacement receiving recess.

Electrical connector

An electrical connector comprises a housing and a terminal held by the housing. The terminal is provided with a first surface exposed form the housing and a second surface contacted with the housing. The first surface is plated, and the second surface is not plated.

Electrical connector and method of producing the same

An electrical connector includes a first connector having first contact elements; a second connector having second contact elements brought into contact with the first contact elements when the first and second connectors are plugged to each other; an arranging section provided on the first connector so as to support the first contact elements thereon; a fitting cavity provided on the second connector so as to support the second contact elements on a wall thereof; first projections and recesses provided on the arranging section; and second projections and recesses provided on the wall of the fitting cavity so as to mesh with the first projections and recesses when the first and second connectors are plugged to each other.

Disclosed is a head base shift mechanism in an auto-reverse cassette tape recorder comprising a motor ( ); a chassis ( ) with a pair of capstans ( ), ( &prime;) rotatable in forward and reverse directions; a head base ( ) slidably mounted on the chassis and carrying at least a head ( ) substantially at a center of the head base; a pair of pinch rollers ( ), ( &prime;) for forward play and reverse play arranged in a substantially symmetric design at opposite sides of the head; spring means ( ) for biasing the head base toward a stand-by position remote from a tape running plane (T) defined by and between the capstans; a pair of engagement members ( ), ( &prime;) engageable with the head base at a point offset from a center line (X) of the chassis; and rotation transmission means ( ) for moving one of the engagement members, selected depending upon the direction of rotation of the motor, while in engagement with the head base at the offset point, thereby moving the head base from the stand-by position (FIG. ) toward the tape running plane. The head base at the stand-by position is shifted toward the tape running plane, against the biasing force of the spring means, in one of oppositely oblique directions due to engagement with a selected one of the engagement members, so that one of the pinch rollers is pressed against a corresponding one of the capstans, while the other pinch roller remains uncontact with the other capstan.

Head base shift mechanism in cassette tape recorder of automatic reverse tape

A mechanism for retaining one tape deck (,), of a double cassette tape player (,), into a temporal inoperative position, which comprises a trigger arm (,) rotatable about a first pivot (,) on a chassis (,) of the tape deck; a first spring (,) for biasing the trigger arm to rotate in a predetermined direction; a pause lever (,) slideable on the chassis of the tape deck; a second spring (,) for urging the pause lever to move in a predetermined direction; and actuating structure or a push lever (,) that is made operative in response to rotation of the motor to urge the trigger arm to rotate in an opposite direction against the first spring. The pause lever is allowed to be slid in the predetermined direction by the second spring when the trigger arm is caused by the push lever to rotate in the opposite direction. The mechanism further comprises a lock structure (,) provided at a tip end of the pause lever for engagement with an axis pin (,) of the rotation transmission gear (,), when the pause lever is slid in the opposite direction, thereby locking the rotation transmission gear in a lock position just before a position where it meshes with a reel drive gear (,). Accordingly, the rotation transmission gear idles in the lock position while it is kept driven by a motor (,).

Mechanism for retaining one tape deck in inoperative position in double cassette tape player

An autoreverse mechanism for a tape recorder having two fly-wheels and two pinch rollers for winding a tape in forward and reverse directions comprises a head mount plate designed in such a way that when the head mount plate moves toward a reproducing/recording position from a stop position and is locked there, the head mount plate moves while being inclined upper rightward or upper leftward, and is locked, and the two pinch rollers are separately pressed against the respective fly-wheels by using that inclination, thereby winding the tape.
