Television receiver apparatus

A wireless transmission system is provided that can minimize the control command transmission amount by operating a plurality of sink devices in conjunction with each other with respect to each group. The wireless transmission system includes: a bridge device () which wireless-transmits an AV content; and a plurality of wireless sink devices () which reproduce the wireless-transmitted AV content. The bridge device () has a group identification table which stores a group identifier for identifying a group formed by the wireless sink device (). The bridge device () adds a group identifier extracted from the group identification table to a control command for controlling the sink devices () and wireless-transmits the control command having the group identifier. The wireless sink devices () receive a control command wireless-transmitted from the bridge device () if a corresponding group identifier is added to the control command.

Wireless transmission system, relay device, wireless sink device, and wireless source device

When reproducing AV data transmitted from a source device by multicast wireless transmission, a sink device can check the wireless connection status of other sink device which reproduces AV data from the same source device. The sink device () includes: an AV reception portion which receives AV data through multicast wireless transmission from the source device (); a reproduction portion which extracts and reproduces AV data transmitted to the sink device () from the received AV data; and a device information receiving portion that wirelessly receives a portion or whole of the sink device information managed in the source device (). The sink device information correlates identification information for identifying a plurality of sink devices (, . . . ) containing the sink device () with state information indicative of wireless connection status of the sink devices (, . . . ).

Sink device and wireless transmission system

Disclosed is a wireless transmission system provided with: a sink device which, when AV data transmitted by means of multicast wireless transmission from a source device is reproduced, performs reproduction control in accordance with the wireless connection state of another sink device that reproduces the AV data from the same source device; and the source device which is capable of determining the wireless connection state and the reproduction control state of the sink device. When the AV data obtained by means of multicast wireless transmission from the source device () is reproduced, the sink device () acquires state information indicating the wireless connection state of the other sink device and adjusts reproduction control for the AV data of the actual sink device () in accordance with this state information. The source device () acquires information on the wireless connection state and the reproduction control state of each sink device and stops or restarts transmission of the AV data on the basis of this information.
