A first estimation unit estimates, based on pieces of information on the reception strength acquired by an acquisition unit in a first time period, a location of a transmitter. A first determination unit determines, based on the location of the transmitter estimated by the first estimation unit, an area in which the transmitter is present. A second estimation unit estimates, based on pieces of information on the reception strength acquired in a second time period, the location of the transmitter. A second determination unit determines, based on the location of the transmitter estimated by the second estimation unit, the area in which the transmitter is present. A correction unit corrects, when a determination result by the first determination unit is different from a determination result by the second determination unit, the determination result by the first determination unit to the determination result by the second determination unit.

Area determination system, area determination method, and program

An area determination system includes a decision unit, a calculation unit, and a determination unit. The decision unit decides, based on a strength of a radio signal transmitted from a transmitter and received by a receiver, a location of the transmitter. The calculation unit calculates a presence determination value. The presence determination value is based on a number of times that the location of the transmitter is determined to be in a presence determination region during a presence determination time period. The presence determination region corresponds to a target area. The determination unit, when a presence condition is satisfied, determine that the transmitter is in the target area. The presence condition is that a state where the presence determination value is greater than or equal to a presence threshold continues for a presence determination time.

A control system includes a communications unit, an acquisition unit, and an output unit. The communications unit communicates with a transmitter that transmits a wireless signal. The acquisition unit acquires location information about a location of the transmitter based on the wireless signal that has been transmitted from the transmitter and received by the communications unit. The output unit has an instruction signal including adjustment information transmitted, in accordance with the location information acquired by the acquisition unit, from the communications unit to the transmitter. The adjustment information is used to vary at least one of a time interval at which the transmitter transmits the wireless signal or transmission power with which the transmitter transmits the wireless signal.

Control system, control program, control method, and transmitter used in control system

A first unit and a second unit manage a plurality of devices (a first device), respectively. In addition, the first and second units, repeat to transmit a keep-alive packet and to confirm a response each other, and thus detect each other's malfunction. When the second unit malfunctions, the first unit detects the malfunction of the second unit and transmits a connection command to the connection unit. With this result, it is possible to transmit a relatively large amount of data while suppressing noise influence caused by a varying condition of a carrier, in contrast to a prior system in which the transmission signal is superimposed only by a simple determination of the carrier condition. Thus, it is possible to share the signal line Ls with the time-division multiplexing transmission system and improve reliability of data transmission.
