A vehicle lighting device is provided which can sufficiently improve overlooking of pedestrians by a driver. A vehicle lighting device of the present invention includes: a forward irradiation part (low-beam unit) that irradiates a forward irradiation region (low-beam irradiation region) of a vehicle; a lateral irradiation part (second cornering light unit) that irradiates a lateral irradiation region (right-side second cornering light irradiation region) on an outer side in the vehicle-width direction of the forward irradiation region; and a first pattern irradiation part (forward projector unit) that irradiates a first irradiation region (right-side forward projector unit irradiation region) that partially overlaps the forward irradiation region and lateral irradiation region in a top view in a bright/dark mixed irradiation region in which bright regions and dark regions are alternately repeated.

Vehicle lighting device

A vehicle lighting device is provided which evokes caution of the approach of a vehicle at an early stage on the side of pedestrians irrespective of being day or night. A vehicle lighting device includes: a pattern irradiation part which irradiates irradiation light on a lateral irradiation region on a side of a travel path of one's own vehicle in a bright/dark mixed irradiation pattern in which bright regions and dark regions are alternately repeated; a situation recognition device which obtains an output corresponding to a situation of brightness outside of one's own vehicle; and a controller which, when the output of the situation recognition device corresponds to a first situation which is at least a predetermined specific brightness, controls the pattern irradiation part so as to be a first lighting mode which is not turned off.

A vehicle headlight device comprising: a low-beam lamp and a high-beam lamp that illuminates a first light distribution region that is in front of the vehicle with light; and a patterned-light emitter that illuminates a second light distribution region with light in an illumination pattern in which bright regions and dark regions alternately repeat, the second light distribution region being further toward an outer side than the first light distribution region in the vehicle width direction, wherein the patterned-light emitter emits light such that intervals between the bright regions that are adjacent are wider at a position further ahead of the vehicle than at a position closer to the vehicle in a traveling direction of the vehicle.

In an illumination device for a vehicle, when a recognition part recognizes that a following vehicle is present behind a vehicle and on one side of either left or right side in a vehicle width direction, and when a detection part detects that a driver recognizes the following vehicle, an exterior light is made to either first lit or first not-lit state. When the recognition part recognizes that the following vehicle is present behind the vehicle and on one side of either the left or right side in the vehicle width direction, and when the detection part detects that the driver does not recognize the following vehicle, the exterior light is made to either second lit or second not-lit state. The first lighting state and the second lighting state are different from each other, and the first not-lit state and the second not-lit state are different from each other.

A vehicle headlight device includes: a pattern photoirradiator (right-side pattern irradiation lamp) which irradiates light on a predetermined irradiation pattern light distribution region of a vehicle in an irradiation pattern in which a bright region and a dark region are alternately repeated; and a cornering light which irradiates a light distribution region under the irradiation pattern light distribution region in a form in which an entire area is a bright region. A headlamp is configured to emit a low beam toward a forward direction of a vehicle. The headlamp is switchable between a first low beam distribution state and a second low beam distribution state. The headlamp is configured to, in the first low beam distribution state, illuminate a low area straight ahead of the vehicle, and in the second low beam distribution state, illuminate at least one of: a width-direction intermediate portion of the low area, one width-direction end portion of the low area, and the other width-direction end portion of the low area, even brighter than the first low beam distribution state.

An optical device for displaying a condensing mark includes a light source, and an optical element for condensing light emitted from the light source onto an irradiated surface. A lamp controller acquires a detection signal from a state detection device mounted on the vehicle and configured to detect a behavior of and peripheral environmental information of the vehicle, and light or blink the optical device. The optical device displays a plurality of condensing marks by arranging each of them side by side in at least the travelling direction of the vehicle on a lane orthogonal to a lane on which the vehicle exists, and one of the plurality of condensing marks to be displayed on a display region farthest from the vehicle is different in color from another one of the plurality of condensing marks to be displayed on a display region closest to the vehicle.
