A tank includes a liner, a neck that has a communicating orifice, a metal cylindrical member that is inserted into a lower end portion of the communicating orifice, and a valve that is inserted into the communicating orifice, wherein a lower end portion of the valve is inserted into the metal cylindrical member. The liner includes a wrap-around portion that wraps around to inside of the communicating orifice, and to contact with an outer circumferential face of the metal cylindrical member. A first O-ring is disposed in a circumferential direction between an inner circumferential face of the wrap-around portion and the outer circumferential face of the metal cylindrical member. A second O-ring is disposed in the circumferential direction between an inner circumferential face of the metal cylindrical member and an outer circumferential face of the lower end portion of the valve.

A high-pressure tank comprising: a resin liner for a high-pressure tank including at least one opening portion; an aluminum mouth portion attached to the opening portion; and a reinforcement layer formed on an outer surface of the liner, wherein an aluminum oxide coating is formed on a surface of the aluminum mouth portion, the aluminum oxide coating includes a porous surface layer in which columns with an average height of 10 to 100 nm are arranged in a dispersed state, an average value of a percentages of the protruding portion area of the columns in randomly sampled 400 nm square visual fields of the porous surface layer is 5.0 to 26.0%, and an average value of the numbers of the columns in randomly sampled 400 nm square visual fields of the porous surface layer is 500 to 2000.

High-pressure tank

A high-pressure tank includes: a liner having a hollow liner body, a metal cap, a sealing member, and a reinforcing portion. The hollow liner body has an opening in an end portion in an axial direction, and a tubular insert ring harder than the liner body and integrated with the liner body to surround the opening. The metal cap is inserted into the opening. The sealing member seals between the insert ring and the metal cap. The reinforcing portion covers an outer side of the liner, and the insert ring extends to a front side in the axial direction with respect to the liner body and is mounted on the metal cap.

A high-pressure tank comprises a liner, a strengthening layer including a first helical layer and a first hoop layer each including a carbon fiber, and a protective layer including a second helical layer and a second hoop layer each including a glass fiber, in this order. The high-pressure tank is provided with a stress-generating portion, a reinforcement layer includes a first area &#x3b1; overlapping the stress-generating portion in a stacking direction and a second area &#x3b2; that is an area except for the first area, and a one-round portion including a final crossing portion at an end of winding of the glass fiber constituting the second hoop layer overlaps the second area in the stacking direction.

High-pressure tank, high-pressure tank mounting apparatus and method for manufacturing high-pressure tank

A high-pressure tank includes: a liner including a body portion having a tubular shape and side end portions each having a dome shape, the side end portions being provided on opposite sides of the body portion; and a reinforcement layer made of fiber reinforced resin covering an outer surface of the liner. The reinforcement layer includes a tubular member covering the body portion and dome members joined to opposite sides of the tubular member so as to cover the side end portions. The liner includes a first resin layer defining a storage space for storing gas and a second resin layer provided between the first resin layer and at least the tubular member. An elastic modulus of a second resin constituting the second resin layer is lower than an elastic modulus of a first resin constituting the first resin layer.

A method for manufacturing a high-pressure tank including a liner that stores gas and a reinforcing layer made of a fiber-reinforced resin and covering an outer surface of the liner includes: a first step of forming a cylinder member made of the fiber-reinforced resin; a second step of forming two dome members made of the fiber-reinforced resin; and a third step of forming a reinforcing body that is the reinforcing layer by joining both end portions of the cylinder member and end portions of the two dome members, respectively. The first step includes forming the cylinder member by winding a release material around a mandrel and winding the fiber-reinforced resin on the release material.

Method for manufacturing high-pressure tank

The high pressure tank comprises a tank main body including a liner made of a resin and a mouthpiece made of a non-resin material and mounted to an open end of the liner; and a reinforcement layer provided to cover the entire tank main body and have pressure resistance. The liner includes a first contact surface arranged approximately perpendicular to a central axis of the liner to come into contact with the mouthpiece. The mouthpiece includes a second contact surface arranged to come into contact with the first contact surface of the liner. One of the first contact surface and the second contact surface includes projections, and the other includes recesses in which the projections being fitted. The second contact surface is formed in an approximately circular shape.

A mouthpiece structure for a pressure vessel includes a liner constituting a vessel body and a cylindrical part, a cylindrical mouthpiece mounted closely to an inner periphery of the cylindrical part, a housing part having a housing recess formed by recessing at least one of the inner periphery of cylindrical part and an outer periphery of mouthpiece, a sealing member housed in the housing recess while adhering closely to the inner periphery of cylindrical part and the outer periphery of mouthpiece, the sealing member defining a sealed space facing an interface between the inner periphery of the cylindrical part and the outer periphery of the mouthpiece in the housing recess, and a retainer located opposite the sealed space with the sealing member being interposed between them and preventing the sealing member from being displaced in a direction such that the sealing member increases a capacity of the sealed space.

The present invention is to provide an electrolyte membrane which retains durability even after having undergone a dimensional change accompanying chemical deterioration caused owing to radicals having high oxidizing ability such as hydroxyl radicals (.OH) or peroxide radicals (.OOH), and the selecting method thereof. An electrolyte membrane has an amount of dimensional change in a plane direction between dimensions obtained in a dry state before and after carrying out the Fenton test, the amount of dimensional change before and after the Fenton test being smaller than an amount of maximum elastic deformation in a plane direction obtained in dry state before carrying out the Fenton test, provided that the Fenton test is carried out under the following condition, and the selecting method of the same. &#x3c;Condition of Fenton test&#x3e; (1) iron ion (Fe) concentration: 4 ppm, (2) hydrogen peroxide concentration: 3 wt %, (3) boiling temperature: 80&#xb0; C., (4) boiling time: 120 minutes.
