A wireless power transmission apparatus includes a high-frequency power generator, a power-transmitting electrode, a plurality of power-receiving electrodes, a switchable matching device, a detection circuit and a controller. The high-frequency power generator generates high-frequency power. The power-transmitting electrode is configured to transmit the high-frequency power generated by the high-frequency power generator. Each of the power-receiving electrodes is capable of wirelessly receiving the high-frequency power from the power-transmitting electrode. The matching device is electrically connected with the power-transmitting electrode and includes one or more matching circuits. The detection circuit detects, based on the output of reflected power from the power-transmitting electrode, whether or not the generation of the high-frequency power by the high-frequency power generator and the transmission of the high-frequency power at the power-transmitting electrode match each other. The controller switches the one or more matching circuits of the matching device depending on the detection result of the detection circuit.

Wireless power transmission apparatus, conveyance system employing the apparatus and method of controlling the apparatus

A high frequency oscillator has a high frequency generation part, an oscillation part, a matching unit, rectification element parts and switch parts. The oscillation part oscillates high frequency power generated by the high frequency generation part. The matching unit is arranged between the high frequency generation part and the oscillation part, and has one or more capacitors and matching circuits having difference characteristics so as to perform matching between the high frequency generation part and the oscillation part. The rectification element parts and the matching circuits are arranged in one-to-one correspondence. The rectification element parts rectify high frequency power supplied from the high frequency generation part to the oscillation part. The switch part is connected to the corresponding rectification element part to switch the corresponding capacitor connected to the corresponding matching circuit through the corresponding rectification element part.

High frequency oscillator and wireless power supply device

A power transmission unit of a wireless power feeding device supplies power to two or more moving bodies wirelessly by using magnetic field resonance. The power transmission unit includes a power transmission coil, a high frequency generation unit, capacitor circuit groups, and a control unit. The capacitor circuit groups have series capacitors connected in series with the power transmission coil and parallel capacitors connected in parallel to the switching elements for generating a high frequency, and the capacitor circuit groups are set together with the power transmission coil so as to have different impedances to each other. The control unit that controls a switch for connecting and disconnecting the capacitor circuit groups according to the number of the moving bodies to which electrical power is supplied from the power transmission coil.

Power transmission unit of wireless power feeding device

In a wireless power supply apparatus, a first unit electrically connected to a power supply and a second unit electrically connected to an electric load. Power transmission is performed wirelessly between the first and second units using a magnetic resonance phenomenon. Each of the units has a resonant amplifier circuit provided with switching means driven by a drive signal, a resonant coil to which a high-frequency signal generated by the resonant amplifier circuit is supplied such that the resonant coil functions as a resonant inductor on the resonant amplifier circuit, and electric storage means electrically connected to the resonant amplifier circuit so as to be capable of charging and discharging power. The second unit includes current detecting means for detecting a current flowing through the storage means, and phase control means for controlling a phase of the drive signal for the switching means based on the detected current.

Wireless power supply apparatus

A wireless power supply apparatus includes a power reception coil, an actual load and an auxiliary load. The power reception coil functions as a repeater for receiving electric power in a non-contact manner by magnetic resonance with a power transmission coil to which electric power is supplied from a power supply unit and relaying transfer of the electric power from the power transmission coil. The actual load is connected to the power reception coil and is powered by the electric power received by the power reception coil. The auxiliary load is inserted parallel to the power reception coil and the actual load and forms a closed circuit with the power reception coil when supply of the electric power to the actual load is interrupted to be in an open state.

Wireless power supply apparatus, filter unit and power supply apparatus for robot using the filter unit

A wireless power supply apparatus using magnetic resonance is provided for a linear motion type robot. In the apparatus, a high-frequency signal for foreign matter detection is generated. This signal is different in wavelength and frequency from a high-frequency signal for transmitting power between a power transmission coil and a power reception coil. The wavelength is wavelength &#x3bb; and the frequency is frequency f. The power transmission coil serves as an apparent antenna of which the long side is set to &#x3bb;/2. At least either of a wavelength &#x3bb;x or a resonance frequency fx of a resonance wave attributed to the resonance in the antenna is detected when the high-frequency signal is supplied to the antenna. Whether or not foreign matter is present on the power transmission coil is detected based on the wavelength &#x3bb;x or the resonance frequency fx.

Wireless power supply apparatus for linear motion type robot

A direct drive type system such as a direct drive type robot is provided. This system includes a rail member, a movable member guided by the rail member and movable along the rail member, and an electric motor to drive the movable member. The system includes a transmission coil and a reception coil. The transmission coil has plural transmission coil segments which are planar coils and arranged on and along the rail member. High-frequency power is supplied to the transmission coil from a power source. The reception coil is arranged on the movable member to be opposed to the transmission coil and configured to an area faced with each of the transmission coil segments, wherein the area is smaller than that of each transmission coil segment. The reception coil receives power from the transmission coil without contact by a magnetic resonance. The received power is supplied to the motor.

Wireless power transmission apparatus and direct drive type system including the apparatus

In a high frequency plasma generation system, a magnetic resonance section is provided as a frequency multiplier section between a discharge circuit and a power booster circuit. The magnetic resonance section extracts from a fundamental wave of a predetermined frequency generated by a frequency generator higher harmonic components, which are multiplied waves of the predetermined frequency and as high as two or more integer times of the fundamental wave. A resonance frequency of the power booster circuit and a first resonance coil is set to be equal to the frequency of the multiplied wave and match to equal a resonance frequency of the discharge circuit and a second resonance coil of the magnetic resonance section when a discharge electrode and a ground electrode are in a predetermined pressure range.

High frequency plasma generation system and high frequency plasma ignition device using the same

An oscillation-type state measuring apparatus has an oscillation-type sensor, a reference oscillation signal generating circuit for producing reference oscillation signals, a beat signal generating circuit for generating beat signals having a beat frequency by synthesizing the sensor oscillation signals and the reference oscillation signals, a counter for measuring a period of the beat signals, and a physical quantity calculation circuit for calculating a physical quantity from the period of the beat signals and from the period of the reference oscillation signals. The reference oscillation signal generating circuit varies the frequency of the reference oscillation signals, and the physical quantity calculation circuit calculates the physical quantity based on the varied period of the reference oscillation signals.

State measuring apparatus and operation control method for the same

A sensor device is disclosed that includes a sensor, in which a resistance value is changed in accordance with a change in an environment of the sensor. The sensor device also includes a beat oscillator having plural oscillators of different oscillating frequencies. The beat oscillator generates a beat signal of a frequency lower than the oscillating frequencies. The beat signal corresponds to a difference of the oscillating frequencies. The beat oscillator is electrically connected to the sensor such that the frequency of the beat signal changes in accordance with the changes in the resistance value of the sensor.
