Disclosed is a metal complex containing a composition represented by the following formula (a). [(Pd)(M)(X)(L)(L')] (In the formula (a), Mrepresents Ag, Auor Cu; X represents Cl, Br or I; L represents a group represented by formula (1); L&#x2032; represents a group represented by formula (2); two Ms may be the same as or different from each other; four Ls may be the same as or different from each other; and two L's may be the same as or different from each other.)
