An impeller is provided with a rotating shaft rotatably supported at the upper and lower ends thereof by an upper bearing and a lower bearing, a plurality of vanes connected to the rotating shaft on the inner circumferential edge side thereof, an annular coupling portion connecting outer circumferential edges of the vanes, and driven magnet portions provided in a lower portion of the annular coupling portion. The rotation of a rotor is transmitted to the impeller through magnetic coupling between the driven magnets and drive magnets provided to the rotor. The upper edge of each of the vanes has a bend point, and an angle &#x3b1; formed by a peripheral upper vane edge and an angle &#x3b2; formed by a central upper vane edge relative to the downward direction of the rotating shaft are both acute angles and have a relationship of &#x3b1;&#x3c;&#x3b2;. An inner wall surface of a housing in a region opposed to the upper edge of the vane has a shape following the upper edge of the vane.

Turbo blood pump

A liquid component collecting device capable of more easily collecting a liquid component. A liquid component collecting device () is provided with: a flexible cylindrical liquid component storage container () having an opening at one end thereof; a cylindrical first housing container () for housing the liquid component storage container () and having an opening at one end thereof; and a first cap () connected to the opening in the liquid component storage container () and fitted to the opening in the first housing container (). A pressure regulating space () independent of the internal space of the liquid component storage container () is formed between the outer side of the liquid component storage container () and the inner side of the first housing container (). The first cap () is provided with a liquid component inlet channel () for introducing blood into the liquid component storage container (), a first communication channel () communicating with the internal space of the liquid component storage container (), and a second communication channel () communicating with the pressure regulating space ().

Liquid component collecting device

It is intended to provide an apparatus for separating and storing blood components which facilitates the preparation of serum. An apparatus () for separating and storing blood components which comprises a blood pooling part () for pooling a fluid at least containing liquid components containing a blood-origin coagulation factors and platelets, a component storing part () for storing at least a part of the components of the fluid pooled in the blood pooling part (), and a connector part () aseptically connecting the blood pooling part () to the component storing part (), wherein the blood pooling part () comprises a blood pooling container () in the form of a flexible tube, a fluid inlet channel () for introducing the fluid into the blood pooling container () and a component outlet channel () for leading out at least a part of the components of the fluid; the component storing part () has a component inlet channel () for introducing at least a part of the components of the fluid having been led out from the blood pooling container (); and the connector part () connects the component outlet channel () to the component inlet channel ().

Apparatus for separating and storing blood components

An impellerincludes a rotating shaftsupported rotatably by an upper bearingand a lower bearingat upper and lower ends, a plurality of vanes, an armcoupling an inner circumferential side of the vanes to the rotating shaft, an annular coupling portioncoupled to an outer circumferential side of each vane, and a driven magnet portionplaced in a lower portion of the annular coupling portion. A drive magnet portionprovided at a rotorand a driven magnet portionare opposed to each other with a bottom wall of the housing interposed therebetween, and rotation of the rotor is transmitted to the impeller through magnetic coupling. A blockade memberis placed below the vanes and blocks a space in a region spreading between the rotating shaft and the annular coupling portion while leaving an openingat least around the rotating shaft. In a configuration in which the rotating shaft of the impeller is supported by the upper and lower bearings and a lower portion of each outer circumferential edge of the vanes is coupled to the annular coupling portion, the formation of a blood clot in the vicinity of the lower bearing can be suppressed.

Turbo type blood pump

A blood filter device includes: a housing that includes a domeprovided with a blood inlet, a filter retaining portionthat is positioned below the dome, and a bottom portionprovided with a blood outlet; and a filterthat is mounted in a cavity of the filter retaining portion and partitions a cavity of the housing into a dome side and a bottom portion side. A sheet-like filter memberof the filter forms a plurality of pleats, and ridgelines of the respective pleats traverse the filter retaining portion in parallel respectively. The blood filter device further includes an annular holderintervening between the filter retaining portion and the filter, a annular rib substratethat is disposed facing the ridgelines of the pleats in an outer peripheral region of the filter and has a plurality of ribs inserted respectively between the ridgelines of the plurality of pleats; and a bonding resinthat is charged into outer peripheral portions of the filter including the annular holder and the annular rib substrate, and bonds the outer peripheral portion of the filter to the filter retaining portion. Gaps are ensured between the plurality of pleats of the filter, and thus air bubbles can be removed easily.

Blood filter device and method of manufacturing the same

A blood filter device has a housing that includes: a head portion () provided with a blood inlet () and forming an upper structure of the housing, a filtration portion () positioned below the head portion and forming a middle structure of the housing, and a bottom portion () disposed below the filtration portion and provided with a blood outlet (); and a filter () mounted in a cavity of the filtration portion and partitioning a cavity of the housing into a head portion side and a bottom portion side. The filter is formed of a filter sheet folded to have a plurality of pleats, and disposed so that ridgelines of the plurality of pleats traverse respectively the cavity of the filtration portion in parallel. The bottom portion has a conical portion () on the inner bottom face protruding downward to form a conical face. Due to the conical portion of the bottom portion, resistance against blood passing through the housing interior is reduced, and the pressure loss can be suppressed satisfactorily while maintaining sufficient filtration performance of the filter in a small device.
