The instant application describes a display device including a display panel; a first component forming the front portion of the cabinet; a second component forming the rear portion of the cabinet; a metal plate comprising a first flat portion parallel to the display surface of the display panel and a second flat portion perpendicular to the first flat portion; an engaging portion provided on the first flat portion, the engaging portion being engaged with the first component; a female screw portion to which a screw penetrating the second component is inserted, and a receiving portion provided on the first component to which the engaging portion is engaged.

Display device

Disclosed is an image display device which is provided with an image display panel (), and a housing () which houses the image display panel (). On the rear wall () of the housing (), a socket (), wherein the plug () of a power supply code () for supplying the image display panel () with power is to be fitted, is provided. On the rear wall () of the housing (), a housing section () for housing the socket () is provided, and the housing section () is configured by bonding together a recessed section () provided in the rear wall () of the housing (), and a cover body () that covers the opening () of the recessed section (). On the bonding surfaces () between the recessed section () and the cover body (), a pair of grooves () are provided, and the pair of grooves () face each other in the state wherein the recessed section () and the cover body () are bonded to each other, and the grooves form a through hole () opened to the outside from the inside of the housing section (). On the bonding surfaces (), second grooves () that traverse the grooves are provided, and first seal members () are fitted in the second grooves ().

Display panel

An image display device which is provided with an image display panel, and a housing which houses the image display panel. In the front wall of the housing, an image display window makes the screen of the image display panel viewable from the outside. In the rear wall of the housing are two housing sections, each being configured by connecting together a recessed section provided in the rear wall, and a cover which covers the opening of the recessed section. On the recessed section-side connecting surface from the surfaces on which the recessed section and the cover of each housing section are connected, screw members are screwed at a plurality of areas along the inner circumference of the connecting surface by penetrating the cover. The distances between the adjacent screw members in the two housing sections are different from each other.

Reducing possibility of short-circuit in a display device

The instant application describes a display device including a display panel; a cabinet configured to house the display panel; a spacer disposed inside of the cabinet between a back wall of the cabinet and a back portion of the display panel; and a fastening component configured to secure the back wall of the cabinet to the back portion of the display panel by penetrating through the back wall of the cabinet and the spacer and resting in an aperture provided in the back portion of the display panel.
