A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material having excellent scratch resistance is disclosed. The photographic light-sensitive material comprises a support having thereon at least two hydrophilic colloid layers, wherein at least one of the layers is a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer, and at least one of the layers contains composite latex comprising polymeric acrylic acid ester and/or polymeric methacrylic acid ester, and colloidal silica.

Silver halide photographic light-sensitive material

A process for forming color images which comprises image-wise exposing a silver halide photographic material, subjecting the exposed photographic material to color development and then fixing the developed material with a fixing bath having a pH of at least 6, the process being free from a silver bleaching (elimination) step. The process is especially suitable for application to radiographic materials.

A color photographic light-sensitive material which comprises a support having coated thereon at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a yellow dye-forming coupler, at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a cyan dye-forming coupler, at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a magenta dye-forming coupler and at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing at least one non-diffusible silver bleach inhibitor selected from the group consisting of a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound having a thioether bond and a heterocyclic compound containing one or more nitrogen atoms which combine with a group containing 11 or more carbon atoms to form a quaternary salt, in combination with one or more heterocyclic thione compounds having a thione group which is not capable of forming a mercaptan. The color photographic light-sensitive material provides silver images for sound recording without any specific processing steps as are conventionally used to form sound tracks.

A process for forming an optical sound track comprising applying ultraviolet light exposure to an optical sound track area of a multi-layer color photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support, color image-forming silver halide emulsion layers consisting of at least one blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a yellow dye-forming coupler, at least one red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a cyan dye-forming coupler, and at least one green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a magenta dye-forming coupler, and at least one ultraviolet light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer (sound track forming layer) containing a non-diffusible silver bleach inhibitor and an infrared dye-forming coupler which forms a dye having an absorption maximum at wavelengths longer than 725 nm, wherein at least one layer interposed between the ultraviolet light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and the support contains a non-diffusible ultraviolet absorbant.

Process for forming an optical soundtrack

A process for forming an optical sound track which comprises applying a nitrogen containing heterocyclic compound in which at least one of the nitrogen atoms is connected to a group having 6 or more carbon atoms to form a quaternary salt to a sound track area of a multilayer color photographic material, after color development but prior to a bleaching step, whereby an optical sound track can be easily prepared on a conventional multilayer color photographic material.

A color photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having coated thereon at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a yellow dye-forming coupler, at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a magenta dye-forming coupler, at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a cyan dye-forming coupler, and at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a compound having a thioether bond directly connected to a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring.
