An automotive power supply device includes a trunk harness structure that is arranged on a floor in the central portion in the width direction of a vehicle body. The trunk harness structure is provided with a battery, and a power supply wiring line for supplying electric power to loads mounted on the vehicle body.

A power supply control apparatus has a voltage detection unit that detects output voltage of a battery or alternator; a condition acquisition unit that acquires an engine condition; a voltage transformation unit that raises or lowers output voltage; a switching unit that switches power supply to in-vehicle devices to either of the output voltage and a voltage transformed by the voltage transformation unit; and a control unit that outputs instruction to the switching unit based on the output voltage value and the engine condition. The switching unit switches the power supply destination between a first in-vehicle device group to which a voltage higher than Vis to be supplied and a second different in-vehicle device group and the control unit outputs instruction to lower or raise the voltage to the voltage transformation unit, and outputs instruction to switch between the first and second in-vehicle device groups to the switching unit.

A camera unit and an apparatus for monitoring a vehicle periphery, which are capable of picking up a wide range of a visual field while adequately adjusting the visual fields in the horizontal and vertical directions, and at the same time, improving visual confirmation of images displayed. The camera unit may include a pickup element, a lens system in which light rays incoming from a prescribed range of a visual field onto the pickup element are imaged, the lens system including a wide-angle lens system whose visual field angle in the horizontal direction is 120 degrees or more, and an anamorphic lens system whose anamorphic ratio is 1.5 or more.

In a camera unit, with respect to a relationship between an image height of respective image portion on an image formed on the pickup element and an image angle of the light lays made incident into the respective image portions, the lens system is configured so that an amount of change in the image height with respect to a change in the image angle is greater at a peripheral portion of the image than at a center part of the image. The lens system further includes an anomorphic lens system which enlarges in the vertical direction the image formed on the pickup element.

A light incident on one side surface of a prism is reflected twice between an inner surface of the other side surfaced of the prism and an inner surface of the one side surface of the prism. The reflected light is emitted from the rear surface of the prism to form an image on an image pickup element through the image pickup lens. A first reflective member disposed on a substantially entire other side surface of the prism totally reflects the light incident on the inner surface of the other side prism. A second reflective member disposed on an area, of the one side surface of the prism, in which the light incident on the inner surface of the one side prism is not totally reflected totally reflects the light incident on the inner surface of the one side prism.

Even in case where light rays coming from the outside enter in front of the vertical angle portion of the prism and are going to cross in front of the prism , the light rays can be prevented by the light shield portion . This can prevent the overlapped reflection of a vision image resulting from the fact that the light rays crossing in front of the prism are reflected by the internal surfaces of the penetration window portions and enter the interior portion of the prism.
