A communication device includes a memory and a processor. The processor is configured to extract first division data from transmission data when transmitting the transmission data. The processor is configured to store, as held data, the first division data in the memory in association with first identification information that identifies the transmission data. The processor is configured to transmit, to a communication destination, a first transmission packet including the transmission data and information that identifies the held data to cause the communication destination to store second division data which is not included in the held data, among the transmission data in association with the first identification information. The processor is configured to transmit, when transmitting the transmission data after the transmission of the first transmission packet, a second transmission packet including the first identification information and the held data instead of the transmission data to the communication destination.

A sensor failure detection device includes a storage, a predictor, a calculator and a detector. The storage stores temperature information of individual sensors. The temperature information includes measured values of temperatures. The measured values of temperatures are measured by a plurality of sensors. The predictor predicts a temperature distribution by performing a thermal fluid simulation, on the basis of the temperature information received from a remaining sensor. The remaining sensor is a sensor of the plurality of sensors other than the test target sensor. The calculator calculates a difference value between a temperature at a position of the test target sensor in the temperature distribution and a temperature measured by the test target sensor. A computer system includes servers having virtual machines arranged therein; a noise source in each among the servers, the noise source emitting sound when the server is operated; and a controller that controls arrangement of the virtual machines in the servers. Then principal component analysis on the collected snapshot data obtains velocity-field and temperature field dimension transformation matrixes, on the based on which the analysis models of the velocity field and temperature field having respective first degrees of freedom are converted into reduced degree-of-freedom models. Then, it is determined whether the harness whose position is decided so as to pass through the set pass position interferes with a mechanical part that is read from a storing unit that stores therein three-dimensional model data on the mechanical part through which the harness passes. When it is determined that the harness interferes with the mechanical part, from among a plurality of surfaces of the mechanical part, a surface that has not been selected is selected, and a pass position of the harness is set outside the selected surface. Then, a position of the harness that passes through the set pass position is decided. These processes are repeated until it is determined that the harness does not interfere with the mechanical part.
