A management device includes a potential usable power calculator that computes a measurement value or an estimated value for a potential usable power which is the amount of power available when the power consumption of an electrical appliance and a potential feed-in amount that can be sold are excluded from the power output from the solar power device; a planned usage determination unit that identifies a planned usage time that a user plans to use a designated appliance; an effective time determination unit that identifies a continuous effective time when a physical quantity representing a state that changes due to the designated appliance using the potential usable power is within a range that is effective for a user; and a scheduler that creates an operation schedule indicating at least an operation start time for the designated appliance on the basis of the planned usage time and the continuous effective time.

A management device includes a surplus power calculator configured to compute a measurement value or an estimated value for a surplus power which is power output from the power generator excluding the power consumption of the electrical appliance; and a scheduler configured to create an operation schedule for a designated appliance scheduled to operate during a period different from a surplus power period when the surplus power is available so that the designated appliance uses the surplus power during the surplus power period to operate; the scheduler also configured to shift the operation period of the designated appliance when a potential usable power is greater than an increment in the power consumption resulting due to shifting the operation period of the designated appliance, where the potential usable power is the surplus power with a potential feed-in power excluded therefrom.

A vibration power generator configured to generate power by displacement between an electret group having a plurality of electrets and an electrode group having a plurality of electrodes in a relative movement direction in response to an external vibration, includes a casing in which the electret group and the electrode group are disposed, a fixed member in which one of the electret group and the electrode group is disposed, the fixed member being fixed to a side of the casing, and a movable member in which the other of the electret group and the electrode group is disposed.
