A production plan for a second base is generated that is suited to the circumstances of the second base while making use of a first base's know-how about adjusting a production plan. A storage unit is configured to store plan adjustment knowledge regarding a plan adjustment that has been made to a production plan for the first base. A generation unit is configured to generate production adjustment knowledge regarding a production adjustment that has been made at the second base, which has a production management level different from that of the first base, based on production capacity and production performance of the second base. A planning unit is configured to generate a production plan for the second base based on the plan adjustment knowledge stored in the storage unit and on the production adjustment knowledge generated by the generation unit.

Provided is a production planning apparatus including: a storage unit configured to store: actual performance information on a resource required for production; a planning master including a plan of a resource required for work of the production; and a planning parameter including a variable required for a production plan; a parameter generation processing unit configured to change the plan of the resource required for the work, which is included in the planning master, based on a difference between the plan of the resource, which is included in the planning master, and actual performance of the resource required for the production, which is included in the actual performance information, and change the planning parameter based on how greatly the planning master is changed; and a production plan processing unit configured to calculate a production plan that uses the planning master and the planning parameter.

As for lower-level items of regenerated articles, predict a delivery due date and an expected number of such regenerated lower-level items based on at least a stock quantity of recovered items collected for reuse purposes and a lead time for taking regenerated lower-level items out of the collected items, thereby controlling, based on the both prediction results, the stock quantity of the lower-level items in manufacturing processes.
