An electric drive unit () of the invention includes the electric motor () and the control apparatus () that is disposed on an axis line of a rotation shaft () of the electric motor () and controls the driving of the electric motor (). The electric motor () has a motor terminal () extending parallel to an axial direction of the rotation shaft () toward the control apparatus () and a slit () is provided to the motor terminal () at an end on a side of the control apparatus (). The control apparatus () has a motor connection terminal () provided on a line extended from the motor terminal () and connected to the motor terminal (). The slit () in the motor terminal () is press-fit and fixed to the motor connection terminal ().

Electric drive unit

A control apparatus for a three-phase brushless motor, in which a control circuit includes time interval calculation means (in FIG.). The time interval calculation means () is endowed with at least one time interval calculation mode. In the time interval calculation mode, pluralities of time intervals which correspond to an addition section obtained by adding up two or more Q continuous sections are calculated on the basis of two position detection signals which lie at both the ends of the addition section, among position detection signals successively generated. The control circuit determines pluralities of energization switching timings on the basis of the pluralities of time intervals. The control apparatus for the three-phase brushless motor can decrease the deviations of the energization switching timings attributed to the errors of the mounting positions of position sensors or to the errors of the magnetized positions of a rotor, without requiring any complicated adjustment.

Control device for three-phase brushless motor

A rotor having magnets composed of rare-earth magnets is rotatably disposed inside an exterior casing, a penetrating aperture is disposed through a first end of the exterior casing relative to a direction of a motor central axis, and a filter is disposed so as to cover the penetrating aperture from a second end of the exterior casing relative to the direction of the motor central axis. A shaft is mounted to a bush by screwing an external thread portion into an internal thread portion. An operating member is mounted integrally onto a second end portion of the shaft projecting outward from a penetrating aperture in a housing. A rotation-regulating projection portion of a guide member fixed to the shaft is fitted loosely into a guide groove disposed so as to extend along an inner wall surface of a central aperture of the housing in the direction of the motor central axis.

Actuator for operating a transmission control valve of an automatic transmission apparatus

A vehicle electro-hydraulic power steering unit includes: a steering mechanism steering a steering wheel in a steering direction; an electro-hydraulic pump; a piston mechanism assisting the steering mechanism in a steering direction; a hydraulic circuit causing an assist force to be generated in response to the steering of the steering mechanism; and a control unit controlling a motor based on an output signal from a vehicle speed sensor, a torque sensor, and a steering angle sensor. In this power steering unit, driving the motor is started when a steering torque exceeds a set torque threshold, and the torque threshold to be set is changed depending on operating conditions. Thus, a vehicle electro-hydraulic power steering unit improved in fuel consumption is obtained.

Variable delivery fuel supply device

In a variable delivery fuel supply device providing a stable control of fuel pressure without being influenced by a scattering of control of an electromagnetic valve and without causing an increase of temperature in the coil of the electromagnetic valve, the variable delivery fuel supply device comprises fuel injection valves for injecting fuel to respective cylinders of an internal combustion engine, a fuel pump which sucks fuel from a fuel intake passage through an intake valve into a pressurizing chamber by a reciprocating movement of a plunger in a cylinder and discharges the pressurized fuel into the delivery pipe through a discharge valve an electromagnetic valve which is located in a relief passage communicating the pressurizing chamber of the fuel pump with the fuel intake passage and is adapted to control a discharge quantity of fuel by relieving the pressurized fuel in the pressurizing chamber at the time of opening the valve, and a control unit for supplying a valve-opening signal to the electromagnetic valve wherein the supply of the valve-opening signal from the control unit to the electromagnetic valve is stopped when the plunger reaches a predetermined position which passes through a top dead point, in an intake stroke of the plunger from a top dead point to a bottom dead point.

In order to reduce load placed on an engine by suppressing loss of the engine power, the fuel feeding device is arranged to comprise a check valve and a two-port connecting valve and further comprises a branch passage for connecting a portion between the check valve and a deliver side of a pumping element with a low pressure and high pressure passage so that the branch passage is opened through operation of the two-port connecting valve when amount of fuel required by the engine is small.

A fuel supply apparatus includes: a high-pressure pump driven by an engine and ejecting high-pressure fuel; a delivery pipe storing the high-pressure fuel ejected from the high-pressure pump in a pressurized state; and a high-pressure regulator having a valve and a valve seat, and adjusting the fuel pressure in one of the high-pressure pump and the delivery pipe. At least one of abutment surfaces of the valve and the valve seat is set to have a hardness of Hv800 or more.

Fuel supply apparatus

The present invention relates to a high-pressure fuel pump assembly 200, which supplies high-pressure fuel from a fuel supply port 9 to a delivery pipe 1a, wherein the high-pressure fuel pump assembly 200 comprises: a high-pressure pump 20 having an intake valve 22 and a discharge valve 21; a fuel discharge passage 4 connecting the discharge valve 21 to the fuel supply port 9; and a high-pressure damper 60 disposed in the fuel discharge passage 4; and a first check valve 210, which opens when the pressure on the voluminous chamber side is a fixed value lower than the pressure on the discharge valve side, is provided within the fuel discharge passage 4 between the high-pressure damper 60 and the discharge valve 21. The first check valve may be a ball valve or a reed valve, and a second check valve may be provided between the fuel supply port 9 and the high-pressure damper 60. The cross-sectional area of the fuel discharge passage 4 may be equal to or greater than the cross-sectional area of the fuel outlet 4a along the entire length of the fuel discharge passage 4.

High-pressure fuel pump assembly

A check valve and a seating valve incur less deformation of a seat, providing good sealing performance. The check valve has: a holding space (36) which is provided in a fluid passage (8); a seating valve (41) which has a main body (41a) having a passage bore (41b) formed along the central axis thereof and a neck (41c) which is vertically provided along the outer peripheral portion of the passage bore (41b) on the end surface at one side of the main body (41a) and which has a seat (41d) formed at the distal end thereof, and which is arranged such that the end surface thereof at the opposite side from the neck (41c) comes into contact with a bottom surface (25a) of a recessed section (25); a valve element (32) which holds a seating surface against the seat (41d); an elastic member (33) which is provided in the holding space (36) in a compressed state to urge the valve element (32) toward the seat (41d); and a fixing member (31) which applies load to a shoulder (41e) of the main body (41a) along the central axis of the main body (41a) so as to secure the seating valve (41) to the bottom of the recessed section (25); wherein a thin wall portion (41g) is formed between the load point of the shoulder (41e) and the seat (41d).

Check valve and seating valve

In a high-pressure fuel pump, a bellows chamber communicates with a fuel tank. A volume chamber having a predetermined volume is arranged in a return passage which returns a fuel stayed in the bellows chamber to the fuel tank. The fuel which has stayed in a region in the return passage can be flowed into the volume chamber to be prevented from flowing back to the bellows chamber.

Fuel-feed system for an engine

A high-pressure pump unit allowing an oiltight test for a high-pressure piping system after assembly without damaging parts which do not have a pressure resistance construction. The pump unit comprises a high-pressure pump (11) for sucking fuel and pressurizing it, a high-pressure regulator (14) coupled through a fuel consuming section (3, 4) to the outlet side of the high-pressure pump for regulating the pressure to the fuel discharged under a high pressure from the high-pressure pump, a fuel pressure switching valve (15) placed in a bypass extending from an upstream side of the high-pressure regulator to a downstream side thereof for opening and closing the bypass in accordance with an operational mode, a check valve (12) located between the high-pressure pump and the fuel consuming section, and a check valve (17) placed between an exit passage (18) of the high-pressure regulator and a passage (19) through which the fuel in the outside of the high-pressure section of the high-pressure pump is discharged to the outside of the high-pressure pump.
