A vibration power generation device including a multiple-degree-of-freedom vibration system comprising a first vibration system and a second vibration system, wherein a natural frequency of the first vibration system is different from a natural frequency of the second vibration system. A first mass member of the first vibration system has a hollow structure including a housing space inside, where the second vibration system is housed. A power generating element is mounted on a plate spring of the second vibration system. A support part projects within the housing space, and one end side of the plate spring is attached to the support part and supported within the housing space at a position inward from a peripheral wall of the first mass member. A second mass member of the second vibration system is attached to another end side of the plate spring.

A vibration power generator includes a vibration system attached to a vibrating member. The vibration system includes a first vibration subsystem, and a second vibration subsystem attached to the first vibration subsystem. The first vibration subsystem includes an elastic member attached to the vibrating member, and a first mass member attached to the elastic member. The second vibration subsystem includes a plate spring integral with a piezoelectric element, and a second mass member attached to the plate spring. The first vibration subsystem has a resonant frequency that is substantially equal to a resonant frequency of the second vibration subsystem.

This plasmon sensor has a small size and a simple structure.

A plasmon sensor includes a supporter, a first metal layer on a lower surface of the first supporter, and a second metal layer having an upper surface facing a lower surface of the first metal layer. A hollow space is provided between the first and second metal layers, and is configured to be filled with a test sample containing a medium. The area of the first metal layer is smaller than the area of the upper surface of the supporter. The supporter has a region having hydrophilic property and facing and contacting the hollow space. This the plasmon sensor has a small size and a simple structure.

A left-handed resonator according to the present invention includes: a series body in which an inductor component and a capacitor component are connected in series; and a parallel body in which an inductor component and a capacitor component are connected in parallel, wherein one end of the series body and one end of the parallel body are connected, the other end of the parallel body is grounded, and the other end of the series body is grounded. With this configuration, a &#x2212;1-order mode is excited using only one unit cell including the series body and the parallel body, so that dimensions of the left-handed resonator can be miniaturized.

A composite filter downsized without degrading its characteristics is disclosed. The filter includes a surface acoustic wave filter and an LC filter coupled to the surface acoustic wave filter. The LC filter is formed by combining a &#x3c0;-shaped LC filter formed of two capacitors and an inductor coupled together in a &#x3c0;-shape with a capacitor coupled in parallel to the inductor. The two capacitors of the &#x3c0;-shaped LC filter are placed on a piezoelectric substrate with their comb-shaped electrodes opposed to each other. This opposing direction differs from an opposing direction of comb-shaped electrodes of a surface acoustic wave resonator.

An antenna switch module includes a filter which reduces transmission loss so as to achieve high attenuation in a wide band at harmonic frequencies. This antenna switch module includes the filter, an antenna switch circuit and an adjustment line. The filter passes fundamental frequencies and has an attenuation pole. The antenna switch circuit switches antennas. The adjustment line is connected between the filter and the antenna switch circuit. The adjustment line adjusts its length, and when the filter and the antenna switch circuit are directly connected with each other at a connection point, prevents the impedance when the filter is seen from the connection point and the impedance when the antenna switch circuit is seen from the connection point from becoming complex conjugates of each other at the harmonic frequencies.
