A housing of an example of an electronic apparatus has a top surface and a bottom surface and has a flat shape, wherein a cross-sectional shape thereof on a reference plane perpendicular to the up-down direction is a circular shape. A rechargeable battery has a rectangular parallelepiped shape. An example of a controller includes a housing including an opening, and an operation member, a part of which is exposed through the opening. A game controller according to the present disclosure includes: a housing; and an internal structural body accommodated inside of the housing. The internal structural body includes at least: an internal frame having an installation surface and a recess adjacent to the installation surface; a battery that is accommodated in the recess of the internal frame and has a first surface that opposes a bottom surface of the recess and a second surface on a side opposite to that of the first surface; and a flexible substrate that is installed on the installation surface of the internal frame and includes a conductive pattern. An example game controller includes a spherical housing, a vibrator, an inertia sensor, an operation device, and a transmitter. The vibrator is inside the spherical housing and configured to generate a vibration to vibrate the spherical housing. The inertia sensor is at a position inside the spherical housing such that a distance from a center of the spherical housing to the inertial sensor is shorter than a distance from the center of the spherical housing to the vibrator. The operation section has an operation surface. The operation surface is capable of being depressed and is at the spherical housing on an opposite side from the vibrator with respect to the center of the spherical housing. The transmitter configured to transmit, to outside, information regarding an operation on the operation section and information output from the inertia sensor.

The transmitter transmits, to outside, information regarding an operation on the joystick and information regarding an operation on the operation section. Thus, it is possible to provide a game controller that allows for various types of operations.

An example game controller includes a housing, an operation section, a light-emitter, and a lightguide. The housing has an opening. At least a portion of the operation section is exposed through the opening. The light-emitter is inside the housing and configured to emit light. The lightguide includes a light-receiving surface configured to receive light generated from the light-emitter and a light-exiting surface configured to output light received via the light-receiving surface to outside the housing. The lightguide includes a surrounding portion and an extended portion. The surrounding portion has the light-exiting surface and surrounds a circumference of the operation section. The extended portion is extended from the surrounding portion and has the light-receiving surface at a tip portion thereof.
