A needle holder for holding a curved needle to which a suture thread is connected. The needle holder includes a flexible tube; and a grasper provided at a distal end of the flexible tube. The grasper includes a first jaw having a groove, and a protrusion at a distal end portion of the first jaw; and a second jaw movably connected to the first jaw. The grasper can hold the curved needle between the second jaw and the protrusion of the first jaw, and can hold a part of the suture thread between a surface of the groove and the second jaw such that another part of the suture thread passes through a gap formed between another surface of the groove and the second jaw. The protrusion has a hook surface for hooking the suture thread extending outside the groove.

Needle holder and method of using same

A treatment system can include a treatment instrument with an operation input element that has a magnet; and a sensor that detects a parameter that changes with a movement of the magnet together with the operation input element based on an operation of the operation input element. The treatment system can also include a control apparatus that can control the supply of electrical energy to the treatment instrument for operation of the treatment instrument. The object of the present invention is to provide a toner for development of electrostatic images (hereinafter referred to as toner) which, while preventing dust during fixation, secures improved hot offset resistance and is excellent in providing good image quality. The invention relates to the toner that comprises a binder resin, a colorant and a wax, wherein the wax has, while in a state of being contained in the toner, a melting point of from 55&#xb0; C. to 90&#xb0; C., and the value Dt of the toner satisfies a specific formula.

Toner for development of electrostatic images

Blur correction apparatus

A blur correction apparatus includes a first fixing member, a moveable member and a second fixing member. A coil for generating a magnetic flux is arranged on the first fixing member. The movable member includes (1) a first magnet facing the coil, (2) a second magnet arranged adjacent to the first magnet, such that the first magnet is arranged between the second magnet and the coil arranged in the first fixing member, and (3) an optical element. The movable member can move in a direction perpendicular to an optical axis of the optical element relative to the first fixing member. The second fixing member includes a hall element that is arranged adjacent to the second magnet in the movable member.

To provide an emulsion polymerized agglomerated toner for electrostatic charge image which is excellent in the fixing property even at a high temperature without deteriorating other properties and which does not emit an odor offensive to people, and a process for its production. An emulsion polymerized agglomerated toner characterized in that the odor index of aliphatic aldehydes measured by gas chromatography is at most 300, and an emulsion polymerized agglomerated toner which is an emulsion polymerized agglomerated toner obtainable via a polymerization step, a flocculation step and an aging step, characterized in that an emulsion polymerized latex before the flocculation step is a latex having a peroxide value of at most 30.

An image forming apparatus comprising an electrophotographic photoreceptor having a photosensitive layer on an electroconductive substrate, and a toner for developing an electrostatic charge image, wherein the photosensitive layer of the electrophotographic photoreceptor contains a phthalocyanine obtained via an acid paste step; the toner for developing an electrostatic charge image is a toner for developing an electrostatic charge image containing toner matrix particles formed in an aqueous medium; the toner has a volume median diameter (Dv50) of from 4.0 &#x3bc;m to 7.0 &#x3bc;m; and the relationship between the volume median diameter (Dv50) and the percentage in number (Dns) of toner particles having a particle diameter of from 2.00 &#x3bc;m to 3.56 &#x3bc;m satisfies the following formula (1):&#x2266;0.233 EXP(17.3/50)&#x2003;&#x2003;(1).

Image forming apparatus

A digital camera having an acoustic member includes a first cover, a water-proof sheet and a second cover. The second cover is spaced from the water-proof sheet.
