An azo compound is represented by formula (1A). Land Leach represent a divalent linking group or a single bond. y represents 1 or 2. p and q each represent 0 or 1, and at least one of p and q is 1. X represents an oxygen atom or NR, and Rrepresents a hydrogen atom or an aliphatic hydrocarbon group. R, R, and Reach represent an aliphatic hydrocarbon group, and may each have a polymerizable group. Q represents a single bond or a group selected from —OC(═O)—, —C(—O)O—, —C═C—, —CH═CH—, —N═N—, —NHC(═O)—, and —C(═O)NH—. Ar, Ar, and Areach represent a 1,4-phenylene group or a divalent sulfur-containing aromatic heterocyclic group. When y is 2, two Ars may be the same or different.

A battery pack includes battery cell having exhaust valve that opens when internal pressure exceeds set pressure, and case that houses battery cell. Case includes multiple case units molded with plastic, multiple case units being coupled with mating surfaces to dispose battery cell inside case, and heat-resistant material disposed inside mating surfaces of respective multiple case units, heat-resistant material blocking gap between mating surfaces.

Battery pack

A cell module includes a plurality of cylindrical batteries and a holder composed by arranging each of cylindrical batteries in a parallel posture. The holder includes: a holder body having holding spaces for arranging cylindrical batteries at fixed positions; and a sub holder stacked on the holder body. The holder body has stopper portions deformed toward surfaces of cylindrical batteries arranged in holding spaces. The sub holder has push rods that push out stopper portions to cylindrical batteries in a state of being coupled to the holder body. In a state in which the sub holder is coupled to the holder body, in the cell module, the push rods thrust stopper portions against cylindrical batteries, and press the surfaces of cylindrical batteries arranged in holding spaces.
