A terminal metal fitting, includes: a first terminal extended in a first direction on a first plane; a second terminal extended in a second direction on the first plane; a first flat plate part of a flat plate type, the first flat plate part being contacted with the first terminal, and having a first broad width face parallel to the first plane; a second flat plate part of a flat plate type, the second flat plate part being contacted with the second terminal, and having a second broad width face parallel to the first plane; a first articulated part of a flat plate type, the first articulated part being contacted with the first flat plate part in the first direction, and having a third broad width face parallel to a second plane including a third direction perpendicular to the first plane, and the first direction; a second articulated part of a flat plate type, the second articulated part being contacted with the second flat plate part in the second direction, and having a fourth broad width face parallel to a third plane including the second direction and the third direction; and a connecting portion connecting the first articulated part and the second articulated part, wherein the connection portion can be bent around the third direction to form an angle difference between the first direction and the second direction.

A method of fabricating connector terminals, includes (a) preparing a single electrically conductive metal sheet including a plurality of pre-terminals, and a plurality of carriers connecting adjacent pre-terminals to each other, each of the pre-terminals having at one end thereof in a length-wise direction thereof an elastically deformable contact portion, and at the other end in the length-wise direction a first area, a pitch between adjacent contact portions being unequal to a pitch between adjacent first areas, (b) folding each of the first areas around a line extending in a length-wise direction thereof to thereby form a male tab having a predetermined thickness, and (c) removing the carriers out of the metal sheet.

Method of fabricating connector terminals

There is provided a connector terminal to be inserted into and housed in a connector housing, the connector housing including a first space having an opening through which the connector terminal is inserted thereinto, and a second space into which a circuit board is fit, the second space being situated adjacent to the first space, the connector terminal including a hollow terminal body, and a resilient piece to be housed in the terminal body, the resilient piece including a contact portion resiliently protruding into the second space from the first space, the terminal body including a stopper restricting movement of the resilient piece in a direction opposite to a direction in which the connector terminal is inserted into the first space.

There is provided a connector terminal to be inserted into a connector housing, the connector housing including a first space having an opening through which the connector terminal is inserted thereinto, and a second space being situated adjacent to the first space, the connector terminal including a terminal body and a resilient piece to be housed in the terminal body, the resilient piece defining a loop between ends thereof such that a gap is formed between the ends, the resilient piece being fixed at one of the ends thereof to the terminal body, the resilient piece including a contact portion resiliently protruding into the second space from the first space, the connector housing including a projection, the contact portion being caused to protrude into the second space from the first space when the other end of the resilient piece slides on the projection.

A connector terminal includes a first contact at one end, a second contact at the other end, and a buffer portion, the connector terminal electrically connecting a first object connected to the first contact to a second object connected to the second object, the buffer portion being bent in accordance with a positional gap between the first and second objects, the buffer portion having a cross-sectional area smaller than the same of the first and second contacts.

A connector terminal includes a main body, a support leg, and a resilient portion. The main body includes a contact portion making contact with a first side of a male connector terminal of a male electric connector, a spring portion facing the contact portion and making contact with the second side of the male connector terminal, a support portion supporting the spring portion, and a space-limiter (joint portion) restricting a space between the contact portion and the support portion from spreading. The support leg is adapted to be fixed at one of the ends thereof. The resilient portion connects the other end of the support leg and the contact portion to each other and is resiliently deformable in accordance with deflection of the main body.

Connector terminal

A connector terminal includes first and second spring terminals between which a male connector terminal of a male electric connector is sandwiched. The connector terminal is formed by bending a strip-shaped plate about lines intersecting with a longitudinal line of the plate such that a width of the plate is maintained as it is. The first and second spring terminals are formed with a limiter for preventing the first and second spring terminals from being outwardly deflected.

An electric connector includes at least one connector terminal into which a male connector terminal of a male electric connector is inserted, and a housing including a terminal storage room in which the connector terminal is housed. The housing includes a support supporting the connector terminal at at least one of an outer surface and a bottom of the connector terminal when the male connector terminal is inserted into the terminal storage room for preventing the connector terminal from inclining.

A terminal is formed of an electrically conductive plate, and includes a first support part and a second support part facing each other such that the first and second support parts sandwich a printed circuit board to make contact with opposite surfaces of the printed circuit board. The second support part is comprised of a portion of the plate expanding in a first direction intersecting with a second direction in which the printed circuit board expands, and the second support part is formed with a recess opening in the second direction.

A terminal connected to a printed circuit board by sandwiching the printed circuit board therebetween includes a first contact part making contact with an upper surface of the printed circuit board, and a second contact part making contact with a lower surface of the printed circuit board, the second contact part being in facing relation with the first contact part, the first contact part including a resilient contact piece making contact with the upper surface, and a support part for supporting the contact piece, the contact piece having a width smaller than a width of the support part, the second contact part having a width smaller than a width of the support part, the contact piece having a length greater than a length of the second contact part, the lengths being measured in a direction perpendicular to a plane defined by the printed circuit board.
