An electrostatic precipitator includes a collecting electrode provided along a gas flow direction, including a plurality of openings being formed in the collecting electrode, and a discharge electrode arranged in parallel with the collecting electrode. The discharge electrode includes a plurality of corona discharge portions for corona discharge, the plurality of corona discharge portions are continuously provided in the gas flow direction, and are protruding toward only one collecting electrode of the collecting electrodes that face each other. A plurality of collecting electrodes and a plurality of discharge electrodes are alternately arranged in a direction orthogonal to a gas flow direction. In each of the upstream region and the downstream region in the gas flow direction, all of the corona discharge portions protrude in the same direction.

Electrostatic precipitator

An electrostatic precipitator is provided capable of preventing a reduction in dust collection effect of ionic wind, and increasing dust collection efficiency. The electrostatic precipitator includes: a plurality of collecting electrodes () in the form of circular pipes arranged at predetermined intervals in a direction orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of the electrodes; and a plurality of protrusions () protruding toward the collecting electrodes () and arranged offset in parallel with the orthogonal direction. An equivalent diameter of a cross section of the collecting electrode () is 30 mm to 80 mm. An opening ratio of the collecting electrodes () arranged at predetermined intervals is 10% to 70%.

Flue gas treatment system and method

A wet desulfurization apparatus which removes sulfur oxides in flue gas from a boilerincludes a mist collection/agglomeration apparatus which is provided on a downstream side of the desulfurization apparatus and forms agglomerated SOmist by causing particles of SOmist contained in flue gasB from the wet desulfurization apparatus to be bonded together and have bloated particle sizes; a COrecovery apparatus constituted by a COabsorption tower having a COabsorption unit which removes COcontained in flue gas by being brought into contact with a COabsorbent and an absorbent regeneration tower which recovers COby releasing COfrom the COabsorbent having absorbed COand regenerates the COabsorbent; and a mist collection unit which collects COabsorbent bloated mist bloated by the COabsorbent being absorbed by the agglomerated SOmist in the COabsorption unit.

A dust collection system, a dust collection method, and a dust collector, can enhance dust-collecting efficiency while reducing the volume of the dust collector as a whole. A dust collector is provided with a casing having an inlet into which gas is introduced; a discharge electrode to which voltage is applied, the discharge electrode being disposed inside the casing and having a spike called discharge spike and mounting frames for supporting the discharge spike; and a collecting electrode having a planar member, disposed inside the casing facing the discharge electrode, the mounting frames being inclined with relation to the gas flow at the inlet. Two mounting frames are connected to each other on the downstream side of the gas flow, and are arranged so that, between the two mounting frames, the upstream side of the gas flow is wider than the downstream side of the gas flow.

The present invention provides a oxazole compound represented by Formula (1), or a salt thereof: wherein Ris an aryl group which may have one or more substituents; Ris an aryl group or a nitrogen atom-containing heterocyclic group each of which may have one or more substituents; and W is a divalent group represented by &#x2014;Y-A- or or &#x2014;Y&#x2014;C(&#x2550;O)&#x2014; wherein Yis a group such as &#x2014;C(&#x2550;O)&#x2014;, Ais a group such as a lower alkylene group, and Yis a group such as a piperazinediyl group. Oxazole compound and pharmaceutical composition

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a dust collector, an electrode selection method for a dust collector, and a dust collection method such that it is possible to select a suitable wire mesh to be used in a collecting electrode and thereby improve the collecting efficiency even at high flow velocities. Dust collector, electrode selection method for dust collector, and dust collection method

A drive switching mechanism includes first to third transmission element trains, a connection/disconnection element disposed at one of a position between the first and second transmission element trains and a position in the third transmission element train, and a rotation restraining element disposed at the other of the positions. When a drive transmission path is disconnected by the connection/disconnection element, the rotation restraining element is drivenly rotated on the basis of a driving force transmitted from the first transmission element train and selects a drive transmission path that is different from the drive transmission path disconnected by the connection/disconnection element. When the drive transmission path is connected by the connection/disconnection element, the rotation restraining element stops being drivenly rotated on the basis of driving forces transmitted from the first and second transmission element trains and selects the drive transmission path connected by the connection/disconnection element.
