According to one embodiment, a fastener installed between a blower fan and a rotating mechanism includes a fastener main body, a first flange portion, a second flange portion, and a slit portion. The fastener main body has a cylindrical outline which is partly cut. The slit portion is continuously cut from the first flange portion to the second flange portion via the fastener main body.

According to the electronic device of the present embodiment, an electronic component is soldered onto a pattern line of a printed circuit substrate, and a surface of the printed circuit substrate where the electronic component is disposed is formed as a recess such that the thickness of the printed circuit substrate in the recess part is thinned.

Substrate-mounted connector for electronic devices and manufacturing method thereof

According to one embodiment, an electronic device includes a housing including a wall portion, a printed circuit board including a plurality of lines and provided in the housing, and a connector formed of a part of the housing and a part of the printed circuit board. The connector includes an engagement hole formed in the wall portion and into which a connector plug is inserted. The connector further includes a shell formed of a portion located around the engagement hole in the wall portion, a tongue portion formed of a part of the printed circuit board and provided in the engagement hole, and connection terminals formed of the lines extending to and on a surface of the tongue portion.

According to one embodiment, a electronic module includes a circuit board including an electronic component mounted thereon, a flexible conducting member including a conductor including a portion covered with a covering member and a portion exposed from an edge of the covering member and soldered to the circuit board, and an engagement member engaging with the flexible conducting member to place the engaged flexible conducting member in a predetermined position on the circuit board and is attached to the circuit board by an attachment method the same as a method of mounting the electronic component on the circuit board.

According to one embodiment, a holder includes a recessed portion and including an opening, and includes a contact exposed from part of a bottom surface of the recessed portion. A lid covers the holder from the recessed portion side, makes a space in the recessed portion airtight in an engaged state in which the opening of the recessed portion is closed, and includes an elastic member pushing down a contained object contained in the recessed portion. And a lock mechanism forms the engaged state between the lid and the holder.

A defect inspection method according to an embodiment has: exposing a target object to a tracer having higher absorptance for a neutron ray than the target object; radiating the neutron ray to the target object exposed to the tracer; generating at least one neutron image based on the neutron ray having penetrated the target object exposed to the tracer; and detecting a defect of the target object based on the generated at least one neutron image.

A card connector includes a base, a shell and a contact. The contact has a contact portion, a first elastic portion and a second elastic portion. The contact portion abuts an electrode of an IC card inserted into a slot between the base and the shell. The first elastic portion extends from the contact portion in an insertion direction of the IC card and has a first end fixed to the base. The second elastic portion extends from the contact portion in an ejection direction of the IC card and has a second end fixed to the base.

The connector is electrically connected to the circuit board, and connected with an external connector. The connector includes: an insulating member; terminal members; and a container. The insulating member includes: a base portion; and an insertion portion extending from the base portion toward the second opening and inserted into a connection portion of the external connector. The terminal members are provided to the insertion portion, and coupled to the connection portion. The container is configured to house the insertion portion. The insertion portion includes: a side surface; and a slanted surface provided to at least one of ends of the side surface at the base portion side and the other one of the ends of the side surface. The slanted surface is slanted with respect to the side surface.

According to one embodiment, a card connector for receiving digital broadcasting includes a store portion into which a card for receiving digital broadcasting is inserted so as to be ejectable, and an ejection prevention mechanism configured to prevent the card stored in the store portion from being ejected. The card connector can automatically release the ejection prevention mechanism when the card is inserted into the store portion, and can automatically actuate the ejection prevention mechanism after the card is inserted into the store portion.

According to one embodiment, a stacking connector includes a first connector and a second connector plugged into the first connector. The first connector includes a first terminal expandable/compatible in a plug-in direction in which the second connector is plugged, and a mold main body surrounding the first terminal. The first terminal includes a first portion and a second portion including a first overlapping portion movable by slide with respect to the first portion, which partially overlaps with the first portion in the plug-in direction and is brought into direct contact with the second connector. The first portion and the second portion are electrically connected to each other by at least two sections.

The fitting port section is fitted to the connection section to connect with the contact section. The flexible flat cable includes a pair of insulating sheets and a plurality of conductors arranged therebetween. The first region contains copper. The second region has a surface containing tin and copper.
