A suspension device for an electric vehicle prevents change in pitching behavior of the vehicle during regenerative and friction braking. The suspension device includes a front suspension arm that swings in a vehicle up-down direction with reference to a front wheel swinging axis; a front damper approximately perpendicular to the front wheel swinging axis in a side view; a rear suspension arm that swings in the vehicle up-down direction with reference to a rear wheel swinging axis; and a rear damper approximately perpendicular to the rear wheel swinging axis in a side view. The front wheel swinging axis and a first imaginary line perpendicular to a direction of extension of the front damper are approximately parallel to each other. The rear wheel swinging axis and a second imaginary line perpendicular to a direction of extension of the rear damper are approximately parallel to each other in a side view.

Suspension device for vehicle

A vehicle-body structure comprises right-and-left front side frames and right-and-left frame members respectively extending forward from a vehicle-front portion of a battery case below the right-and-left front side frames. Plural right-side connection portions to connect the right-side frame member to the right-side front side frame are provided to be spaced apart from each other in a vehicle longitudinal direction.

Vehicle-body structure of electric automotive vehicle

A bulge portion bulging rearward is provided at a dash panel. A reinforcement is fixed to an inner surface of the bulge portion. A rear end wall portion of the bulge portion is positioned at the rear of a center portion of a rear end portion of a cowl panel in a vehicle width direction.

A vehicle body structure includes a front floor panel provided on a vehicle front side and a rear floor panel provided at the rear of the front floor panel. A first battery arrangement portion is provided long in a vehicle front-rear direction at a center portion of the front floor panel in the vehicle width direction. A vehicle body structure includes a front floor panel and a rear floor panel provided at the rear of the front floor panel. The front floor panel is positioned higher than the rear floor panel. A front battery that supplies electric power to the traction motor is arranged below the front floor panel.

A vehicle suspension system smoothly changes a vehicle posture with respect to a steering force and a steering angle by minimizing a kinematic roll at an initial turning stage, thereby allowing a driver to obtain the sensation of maneuvering the vehicle well. The suspension system includes a front suspension having geometry satisfying that a caster angle is +3&#xb0; to +5&#xb0;, a caster trail is +20 to +30 mm, an intersection point between a kingpin axis and ground is located on an inner side in a vehicle width direction of a center of a tire contact patch, and an anhedral angle of a lower arm is +2.8&#xb0; to +7.2&#xb0;. A rear suspension includes five links and has geometry satisfying that a virtual kingpin axis extends near the center of a tire contact patch of a rear wheel assembly and extends vertically at &#x2212;2&#xb0; to 0&#xb0;.

Vehicle suspension system

The vehicle body structure includes a front floor panel, a rear floor panel positioned lower than the front floor panel, and a connection panel extending from a rear portion of the front floor panel to a front portion of the rear floor panel and inclined or curved so as to be positioned downward toward a rear side. At least the front portion of the connection panel is positioned at the front of the front portion of the front seat.

A five-link automobile suspension device is configured to support a lower end of a damper with a lower arm, and is capable of reducing sliding friction while ensuring a road clearance. Embodiments include a lower arm connecting a wheel support and a vehicle body, and a damper that has a lower end connected to the lower arm and is disposed to incline upward toward a vehicle-width-direction inner side in a rear view. A wall surface of the lower arm has a damper mounting portion, which supports a pivot of the damper, at a position lower than a straight line connecting a pivot on a wheel side and a pivot on a vehicle-body side of the lower arm. A bottom surface of the lower arm has a bulge formed at a position under the damper mounting portion.

Automobile suspension device

A double-wishbone type of suspension device for a vehicle comprises a forked-shaped upper arm, a forked-shaped lower arm, and a connecting rod which connects a front-side arm portion of the upper arm and a rear-side arm portion of the lower arm, wherein the connecting rod comprises an upper rod which is rotatably connected to the upper arm, a lower rod which is rotatably connected to said lower arm, and a resilient bush which connects the upper rod and the lower rod in an expandable manner in an axial direction.

The bushing includes an outer cylinder, an inner cylinder, and an elastic body therebetween. The outer cylinder has a central recess portion formed in a curved shape. The inner cylinder has a central convex portion being formed in a curved shape. A distance between a vertex of the central recess portion and the vertex of the central convex portion is smaller than a distance between a point other than the vertex of the central recess portion and a point at which a straight line extending from the point other than the vertex of the central recess portion to an intersection point of the perpendicular line and the axis of the inner cylinder intersects the central convex portion.

Bushing and vehicle suspension device

The bushing includes an outer cylinder, an inner cylinder, and an elastic body therebetween. The outer cylinder has a central recess portion recessed from the inner peripheral surface in the radial direction at the central portion in the axial direction, and the thickness of both end portions is thicker than the thickness of the central portion. The central recess portion is formed in a curved shape or having a curved and a straight shape. The inner cylinder has a central convex portion swelling from the outer peripheral surface in the radial direction at a position corresponding to the central recess portion. The maximum outer diameter of the central convex portion is larger than the minimum inner diameter of the inner peripheral surface of the outer cylinder.

A subframe structure includes a subframe disposed below a vehicle body structure of a vehicle, and an extension frame extending forward from the subframe and configured to absorb an impact load from forward of a vehicle body. The subframe has a body part extending in a vehicle front-and-rear direction and a mount support part supporting a power train through a mount. The body part is fixed to the vehicle body structure through the mount support part.

Subframe structure

A vehicle-body structure of an automotive vehicle comprises a frame which is provided at a side portion of a vehicle body to extend in a vehicle longitudinal direction, and a load absorption portion which is provided at a front face of a tip portion of the frame to protrude forward, wherein the load absorption portion includes an inclination face portion which protrudes outward, in a vehicle width direction, relative to the frame and a tip face of which extends obliquely forward and inward.

Vehicle-body structure of automotive vehicle

A rear sub frame comprising a pair of side members, a front cross member, and a rear cross member. The front cross member is configured in substantially a V shape in a front view such that the front cross member slants continuously from both end portions thereof toward a central portion, in a vehicle width direction, thereof which is located below a rear differential, and that a center position, in the vehicle width direction, of a bottom portion of the front cross member which corresponds to an apex portion of the V shape is offset from a center of a vehicle body in the vehicle width direction toward a specified side which matches an offset-arrangement side of a ring gear arranged in the rear differential.
