A scroll compressor is provided which includes: a revolving scroll, a fixed scroll, an autorotation preventing mechanism, a frame, a crank shaft provided with an eccentric pin portion which is eccentric with respect to an axis, the crank shaft being provided with a flange portion at a lower portion of the eccentric pin portion, the flange portion being larger than the diameter of the eccentric pin portion, a balance weight mounted on the flange portion, a sealing member performing sealing between the revolving scroll and the flange portion, and a thrust bearing arranged between the frame and the flange portion. The scroll compressor reduces the amount of oil flowing into a back pressure chamber, thereby improving the performance of the scroll compressor.

Scroll compressor

A scroll compressor includes a fixed scroll, an orbiting scroll, a suction section, a discharge section, and an electric motor. A sliding surface of a scroll is formed outside a wrap with a depression section depressed with respect to a sliding surface and a flange section elevated with respect to the depression section. The flange section is a remaining region in a protruding region disposed outside a referential perfect circle, the remaining region being other than a region continuing to an end of an involute curve of a scroll formed with the flange section, the referential perfect circle having a radius set to a distance between the center of the scroll formed with the flange section and the end of the involute curve. The scroll compressor enhances reduction of the sliding loss with a simple structure and reduction of the refrigerant leakage loss in the entire compression chambers.

A compressor is provided with a fixed scroll having a spiral lap erected on a bed plate; an orbiting scroll having a spiral lap erected on a panel and forming a compression room meshed with the fixed scroll; and an orbiting bearing disposed penetrating the panel and the central part of the lap of the orbiting scroll, wherein a lap center is so shifted from a panel center out of alignment in a direction in which, within a range in which the orbiting bearing can be formed in the central part of the lap, the longer of the minimum distance between the lap winding end position of the orbiting scroll and the outer circumference of the panel and the minimum distance between the outermost circumferential part and the outer circumference of the panel in an approximately 90&#xb0; direction of becomes the shortest distance.

The lap shapes of a fixed scroll and an orbiting scroll are configured in an asymmetric tooth profile. In the bed plate of an orbiting scroll, a fluid effluence channel communicating with an external line side compression room of an orbiting scroll lap and another fluid effluence channel communicating with an internal line side compression room are formed, and the outlet side opening of each fluid effluence channel opens in the lap tooth bottom of the orbiting scroll, and inlet side openings are formed in a face of the bed plate that is in sliding contact with the bed plate face of the fixed scroll. In the face of the bed plate, a communicating section control groove that lets the inlet side openings of the two fluid effluence channels and the back pressure room intermittently communicate with each other.

A scroll compressor includes a crankshaft, a suction chamber, a back pressure chamber, a communication path, a back pressure control means, and a base plate. The base plate intermittently connects the communication path by opening and closing an opening on a back pressure chamber side of the communication path. The crankshaft drives an orbiting scroll, and mutually engages a stationary scroll having a whirlpool shape and the orbiting scroll.

In a revolution type compressor using a balance weight for balancing a rotating mass, the effect of oil churn reduction is enhanced, and compressor input is reduced. A balance weight fixed to a drive shaft between a rotor of an electric motorand a compression mechanism includes a weight portion in a substantially semicircular column shape for balancing a rotating mass, a cover portion which is substantially semi-cylindrical and has an opening in the vicinity of a top and bottom at an opposite side in a radial direction from the weight portion, and a hollow space surrounded by the weight portion and the cover portion. Further, a space for discharging oil is provided between the balance weight and the rotor. By the structure, reduction in oil churn, and reduction in input of the compressor are realized, and the compressor with less power consumption is obtained.

Revolution type compressor

A scroll compressor is provided in which the amount of lubricant oil supply is appropriately controlled over a low to high rotational frequency range of the scroll compressor. The scroll compressor has an oil supply unit and an oil supply passage. The oil supply unit includes a small hole with a diameter not exceeding a seal ring width of the sealing part and a groove which are formed on the end plate of the boss portion on the back side of the orbiting scroll. As the orbiting scroll orbitally moves, oil in the high pressure hydraulic chamber pools in the small hole to be discharged, across the seal ring, into the back pressure chamber. The oil supply passage communicates between the high pressure hydraulic chamber and the back pressure chamber.

A scroll compressor is constructed by combining a stationary scroll and an orbiting scroll formed by erecting a scroll-shape wrap upright on a base plate meshing with each other. A scroll member constructing the stationary scroll or the orbiting scroll is constructed of an inner layer memberforming a core metal and an outer layer memberarranged so as to surround the inner layer member and forming an outer layer part, the inner layer member is constructed of a material with higher modulus of elasticity than that of the outer layer member, and separation prevention parts (uneven parts, depressions, or holes) preventing the inner layer member and the outer layer member from separating with each other due to difference in coefficient of thermal expansion thereof are arranged in the inner layer member.

A scroll compressor includes a fixed scroll, an orbiting scroll, a crankshaft rotationally supported on a frame to drive the orbiting scroll, a seal member between an orbiting scroll back surface and the frame, a back pressure chamber of discharge pressure at an inner peripheral side of the seal member, another back pressure chamber of low pressure at an outer peripheral side so that the orbiting scroll is pressed against the fixed scroll with the pressures of these back pressure chambers, and a guide ring supporting an end surface of the seal member at a side opposite to the orbiting scroll and including a guide portion guiding an inner peripheral surface of the seal member so that the seal member is brought into close contact with the orbiting scroll back surface by a wave spring through the guide ring.
