A side sill reinforcement structure includes a battery unit for drive, a side sill extending in a vehicle front-rear direction on an outer side in a vehicle width direction of the battery unit, and a reinforcing member that connects the battery unit and the side sill. The reinforcing member includes a closed cross-sectional portion group having a first closed cross-sectional portion disposed on the innermost side in the vehicle width direction and a second closed cross-sectional portion disposed adjacent to the first closed cross-sectional portion. The first closed cross-sectional portion includes a first upper wall and a first lower wall. The second closed cross-sectional portion includes a second upper wall and a second lower wall. The thickness of the first upper wall is larger than the thickness of the second upper wall, and the thickness of the first lower wall is larger than the thickness of the second lower wall.

Side sill reinforcement structure for electric vehicle

A seat back frame for automobile includes a first side frame and a second side frame that are arranged apart from each other in a vehicle width direction, an upper frame that connects an upper end portion of the first side frame and an upper end portion of the second side frame, and an upper bracket that is attached to the upper end portion of the first side frame and guides a seat belt. The first side frame includes a columnar member made of an aluminum alloy extruded material and having a closed cross-section portion in a cross-section perpendicular to a vehicle vertical direction, and a plate-shaped reinforcing member made of high-tension steel, joined to the columnar member, and extending to a vehicle rear side of the columnar member.

A seat back frame for automobile includes a first side frame and a second side frame that are arranged apart from each other in a vehicle width direction, an upper frame that connects an upper end portion of the first side frame and an upper end portion of the second side frame, and an upper bracket that is attached to the upper end portion of the first side frame and guides a seat belt. The first side frame is an extruded material extending in a vehicle vertical direction, and has a fixed lower end portion. Seat back frame for automobile and method for manufacturing the same

A vehicle body structure includes a battery disposed in a lower central part of a vehicle body, a hollow side sill extending in a vehicle front-rear direction and disposed outside the battery in a vehicle width direction, and a reinforcing member configuring at least a part of a continuous tubular structure formed inside the side sill. The continuous tubular structure has a shape in which a plurality of octagons are continuously arranged as viewed from the vehicle width direction.

To suppress occurrence of stress corrosion cracking in a weld due to tensile residual stress generated in a web or a middle rib in case of bend forming of an aluminum alloy extrusion having the weld on the web or/and the middle rib. In bend forming of the aluminum alloy extrusion, a peak position of tensile residual stress generated in the middle rib exists in a region other than the vicinity of the weld. Since the peak position is away from the weld by a distance, tensile residual stress in the weld is reduced, making it possible to suppress occurrence of stress corrosion cracking.

A door beam including an aluminum alloy extruded material of a closed section structure having a welded part along the longitudinal direction, webs and an outer flange are inhibited from buckling and further the welded part in the outer flange is inhibited from breaking at the time of collision. In a cross section of an aluminum alloy extruded material perpendicular to the extrusion direction, each of the webs includes an outer part connected to the outer flange and an inner part connected to an inner flange and the thickness of the outer part is larger than the thickness of the inner part. Provided is a structure for a front part of a vehicle, including a vehicle main body, a pair of suspension support portions, and a cowl member connected to the pair of suspension support portions. The cowl member has: an inner part connection portion which has a shape extending continuously in a vehicle width direction between the pair of suspension support portions and which interconnects respective inner parts of the pair of suspension support portions in the vehicle width direction; and a water drain portion which is provided backward of the inner part connection portion in a front-rear direction of the vehicle and drains water toward a side part of the vehicle in the vehicle width direction. A door beam includes an aluminum alloy extrusion body extended in a longitudinal direction and having a pair of webs and a pair of flanges to be positioned on an inner side and an outer side in a width direction of a vehicle body. Provided is a vehicle hood capable of improving pedestrian protection performance by suppressing an increase in acceleration secondary peak while increasing an acceleration primary peak. A vehicle hood includes an outer panel, an inner panel, and a deformable part that deforms with the outer panel when the outer panel deforms toward the inner panel, in which the inner panel includes a bottom, an upright wall, and an opposed part, and the deformable part includes a joint part joined to an intermediate wall of the upright wall or the opposed part, and a displaceable part that is close to or in contact with the outer panel above the bottom and is capable of being downward displaced with the outer panel to below the joint part when the outer panel deforms toward the inner panel.

Vehicle hood

Provided is a vehicle hood that allows a reduction in thickness of an outer panel while providing stiffness of the outer panel. A vehicle hood includes an outer panel, an inner panel, and a plurality of adhesive components. The inner panel has a plurality of beads. Each bead has a support part that supports each adhesive component. The adhesive components are provided on the support parts so as to be intermittently aligned along a specific direction. A support-part interval between the support parts adjacent to each other in an intersecting direction is smaller than an adhesive-component interval between the adhesive components adjacent to each other on the support parts.

A vehicle hood structure includes a hood outer panel and a hood inner panel. The hood outer panel includes at least one character line extending substantially in a vehicle front-rear direction. The character line intersects a central line that extends in a vehicle width direction and that passes through a central point where a center of the hood outer panel in the vehicle front-rear direction and a center of the hood outer panel in the vehicle width direction are superposed on each other. The character line intersects the central line at an intersection point positioned within a region extending from the central point by 300 mm or less in the vehicle width direction.

An inner panel of a vehicle hood has a 0.2% proof stress of 70 MPa or more and 120 MPa or less after assembling of the inner panel and completion of bake coating. An outer panel has a 0.2% proof stress of 150 MPa or more. The outer panel is made of JIS 5000 or 6000 series aluminum alloy plate material, and the inner panel is made of a JIS 3000 series aluminum alloy plate material.
