A composite coil device includes a winding shaft portion, a first conductor portion, and a second conductor portion. The winding shaft portion at least partly includes a magnetic body and axially includes a first section and a second section. The first conductor portion is wound continuously in the first section and the second section. The second conductor portion is wound in the second section.

A surface mounting coil device includes a bobbin including a hollow tube-shaped hollow tube portion and a terminal block portion connected to the hollow tube portion and provided with a terminal installed on a mounting substrate during mounting, a wire member including a winding portion wound around the hollow tube portion, both ends of the wire member being electrically connected to the terminal, a core including a middle leg portion passing through the hollow tube portion and attached to the bobbin, and a shield member including a shielding portion positioned in an outer diameter direction of the winding portion, an engagement portion engaged so as to be relatively movable along a mounting direction with respect to the bobbin, and an installation portion connected directly or via the shielding portion with respect to the engagement portion and installed on the mounting substrate during mounting.

Surface mounting coil device and electronic equipment

A coil device includes a bobbin, a core body, a wire, and a plurality of terminals. The bobbin includes a pair of connection side portions and a pair of terminal tables. The pair of connection side portions is arranged near both sides of a winding core of the core body and wound by the wire along with the winding core. The pair of terminal tables is arranged on both ends of the connection side portions and respectively includes the terminal protruding outward in a winding axis of the winding core. The core body includes a pair of flanges arranged on both ends of the core body in the winding axis. Each of the terminal tables includes a flange storage recess configured to contain the flange.

A coil component comprises a core element having a mounting portion, a coil conductor placed on the core element, and at least two terminal electrodes which are placed in the mounting portion. The mounting portion has at least two terminal placement areas for placing the terminal electrodes respectively. A hollow portion opening to the mounting side face of the mounting portion is formed in an area between the at least two terminal placement areas in the mounting portion. When mounting the coil component on a circuit board, conductive paste is intervened between an area from the terminal electrodes placed in the mounting portion of the core element to the base exposed area of the mounting portion, and the electrode patterns on the circuit board.
