A rotary connector device body in which a rotator and a stator are assembled so as to be relatively rotatable has a housing space that can house an FFC inside. The rotary connector device body has a viewing window that is a through hole through which the housing space is viewed from outside of the rotary connector device body, a cover member disposed at the viewing window so as to cover the viewing window, an outer regulating portion facing outside of the rotary connector device body and disposed so as to be able to contact an outer surface of the cover member, and an inner regulating portion facing the housing space and disposed so as to be able to contact an inner surface of the cover member. The cover member is disposed between an outer regulating portion and an inner regulating portion.

Rotary connector device and method of assembling rotary connector device

A steering column structure includes a rotary connector, a steering column cover, and a steering lower cover attached with a gap defined between the steering lower cover and the steering column cover. The steering column cover includes a first side wall portion defining the gap, and a first insertion hole that is disposed in the first side wall portion and into which the rotary connector is inserted. The steering lower cover includes a second side wall portion facing the first side wall portion and defining the gap together with the first side wall portion, and a second insertion hole that is disposed in the second side wall portion and into which the rotary connector is inserted. The first side wall portion includes a first dam portion disposed in a position corresponding to the rotary connector above the rotary connector.

Steering column structure

Provided is a rotary connector device comprising a rotator, a stator that is a member configured to hold the rotator rotatably around an axis line and form an annular space around the axis line between the rotator and the stator, a rotator side connector held by the rotator and configured to enable an external electrical connection, a stator side connector held by the stator and configured to enable an external electrical connection, and a flat cable that is flexible, housed in the annular space, and configured to electrically connect the rotator side connector and the stator side connector, wherein the rotator includes a rotator main body that is an annular member disposed around the axis line, and a connector housing section having a connector housing space that is a space passing through between the annular space and outside of the annular space.

Rotary connector device

The rotary connector device includes a rotator and a stator. The connector housing section of the rotator is formed so as to be capable of holding a rotator side connector configured to enable an electrical connections with the outside, and includes: a connector holding section protruding from the rotator main body of the rotator to the outside of an annular space in the stator; and a cover member that is a member configured to at least partially cover the connector holding section along a direction in which the connector holding section protrudes.

The present invention provides a rotary connector device that enables relative rotation between the rotator and the stator to be easily and reliably fixed at a neutral position even when a steering device is disengaged. A rotary connector device () according to the present invention is provided with: a self-rotation pin () that is self-rotatable with respect to a sleeve () and that is provided with a pin-side notch () that restricts the self-rotation by coming into contact with an inner circumferential surface of a stator-side inner-circumferential cylindrical portion (); a stationary-side gear () and a self-rotation-side gear () that transmit the relative rotation and the self-rotation in an interlocked manner; and a stationary-side switching mechanism () and a pin protrusion () that switch, in a neutral position, the self-rotation pin () from a released state to a restricted state.

Power supply apparatus for sliding door

A power supply apparatus for sliding door includes a flat cable for electrically connecting devices on a side of vehicle body to the devices on a side of a sliding door mounted on the vehicle body so as to be able to be slid, a vehicle body side fixing portion for fixing the flat cable on the vehicle body; and a door side fixing portion for fixing the flat cable on the sliding door, wherein the flat cable is extracted from the vehicle body side fixing portion and the door side fixing portion in the substantially same direction which is substantially parallel to the sliding directions of the sliding door, and the width direction of the flat cable is maintained to be substantially vertical.

A power supply apparatus for sliding door, comprising a body-side fixing unit fixed to a vehicle body, a door-side fixing unit fixed to a sliding door, and a flat cable having a connector on both ends thereof respectively, arranged to run from the vehicle body through the body-side fixing unit and the door-side fixing unit to the sliding door, wherein the flat cable is used in such a manner that a longitudinal direction in a cross sectional area in at least a bent portion of the flat cable is in accordance with a height direction of the vehicle body.
