A needle holder includes a sheath, a grasper capable of grasping a target object, an operation portion capable of opening and closing the grasper, and an operation wire. The operation portion includes a main body, a slider, and an elastic member that is elastically deformable depending on an opening and closing position of the grasper. The slider is connected to the grasper via the operation wire. The grasper can release grasping of the target object and can grasp the target object with a first grasping force in response to an operation of moving the slider against a restoring force of the elastic member. The grasper can grasp the target object with a second grasping force smaller than the first grasping force when the restoring force of the elastic member and tension of the operation wire are balanced.

A clip unit includes: an arm portion including arms extending from a proximal end portion to a distal end portion so as to be openable and closeable; a holder than can hold the arms in a closed state by accommodating the proximal end portion of the arm portion; and a thread grip attached to at least one of the arms and positioned between the arms. In a state where the arms are spread open, a dimension of the thread grip in the opening/closing direction of the arms is equal to or larger than a distance between the arms in the closed state. The thread can be elastically deformed in the closed state.

A puncture needle for an endoscope includes: a flexible sheath; a needle component that is placed on an interior side of the sheath such that it can move freely forwards and backwards; a wire that is provided at a base end portion of the needle component, and that moves the needle component forwards or backwards along an axial direction of the sheath; and an operating section that is connected to an operating side of the sheath, and operates the wire. This wire is formed by a metal material that has elasticity, and a bent portion is provided in the wire that generates friction against an inner wall of the operating section, and imparts resistance to the forwards and backwards movement of the needle component.

An endoscopic puncture needle includes a sheath, an outer needle, an outer needle moving member, an inner needle, an inner needle moving member, and an operation portion. The outer needle moves along an axial direction of the sheath in the sheath, and is retractable with respect to a distal end of the sheath. The outer needle moving member is arranged at a proximal end portion of the outer needle, and moves the outer needle with respect to the sheath. The inner needle moves in the outer needle along the axial direction of the sheath, and is retractable with respect to a distal end of the outer needle. The inner needle moving member is arranged at a proximal end portion of the inner needle, and moves the inner needle with respect to the outer needle. The operation portion operates the outer needle moving member and the inner needle moving member.

Endoscopic puncture needle and method of acquiring tissue from a target region by using the endoscopic puncture needle

A biopsy tissue sampling treatment instrument includes a stem portion having a predetermined length sufficient to puncture living tissue; a puncturing portion formed at a distal end of the stem portion and having a protruding surface portion expanding rearward along a puncture direction of the stem portion; a tissue holding surface provided on a rear side of the protruding surface portion in the puncturing portion and having an area large enough to hold the living tissue; a stopper member provided at a rear end of the stem portion and having an abutting portion capable of abutting against the living tissue punctured by the stem portion; and an operating member provided on the stopper member and configured to hold the stem portion to the living tissue, allowing the stem portion to puncture the living tissue. Consequently, the biopsy tissue sampling treatment instrument increases holding capacity for the living tissue to be extracted, allows living tissue to be extracted in sufficient sampling quantities, and makes it easy to take samples of living tissue at an intended depth in tissue.

The internal diameter measurement device is inserted into a cavity to measure its internal diameter. The internal diameter measurement device includes: a tubular sheath inserted into the cavity; a balloon which is provided on a distal end portion of the sheath, and is capable of expanding by supplying a fluid to an inner portion thereof; a linear reference member having a first end portion fixed to the distending portion or the distal end portion of the insertion portion, and a second end portion moving towards the distal end of the insertion portion in conjunction with the expansion of the distending portion; and a measuring portion which is provided in a proximal end portion of the insertion portion and is capable of confirming the position of the second end portion of the reference member. This internal diameter measurement device enables accurate measurement irrespectively of dimensions of a pipeline to be measured.
