A vehicle control system includes: a power unit including an electric rotary machine; an electric coolant pump configured to circulate a coolant that cools the electric rotary machine; and a control unit configured to operate the electric coolant pump based on a condition that a temperature of the electric rotary machine is equal to or higher than a predetermined operation threshold temperature, and a condition that an output of the electric rotary machine is equal to or higher than a predetermined operation threshold output.

A rotating electrical machine includes a rotor which has a rotor core formed by stacking magnetic plates having an annular plate shape in an axial direction, a permanent magnet is inserted into a magnet insertion hole formed in the rotor core, and a rotor shaft is inserted into a shaft insertion hole surrounded by an inner peripheral surface of the rotor core; and a stator. A cooling structure for a stator configured with a cooling medium distributing member formed with a plurality of discharge openings, and a distributing path, wherein the distributing path has a plurality of chambers separated by a partition wall, and an inter-chamber communication passage that is formed in the partition wall and communicates between the adjacent chambers. The cooling medium distributing member includes at least one cooling medium distributing chamber that divides the distributing path to a plurality of inter-chamber communication passages, and also includes a plurality of discharge chambers. The plurality of inter-chamber communication passages formed in the partition wall are formed with a ratio of an opening width between the different inter-chamber communication passages set according to a ratio of a sum of opening cross-sectional areas of all of the cooling medium discharge openings which are located downstream of each of the inter-chamber communication passages.

Curable acrylate-type elastomer composition

This invention is directed to a rubber laminate that produces a sufficient bonding strength between a FKM layer and a NBR layer. The FKM layer is made of a FKM compound containing a polyol vulcanization system in which a vulcanization accelerator is incorporated in an amount more than usual, or a FKM compound of peroxide vulcanization system in which a vulcanizing agent and accelerator used for the polyol vulcanization system is incorporated along with the peroxide vulcanization system. The NBR layer is made of a NBR compound incorporated with an oxide or hydroxide of a metal selected from Goups II to IV of the Periodic Table such as calcium hydroxide in an amount more than usual. The rubber laminate of this invention is suitable for rubber hoses and rubber diaphragm.

Rubber laminate

A high-pressure rubber hose has a reinforcing layer embedded therein, has at least an outer layer thereof formed of the vulcanization product of an ethylene-propylene-diene copolymer rubber (hereinafter referred to as 'EPDM' for short), and is adapted to be used as fastened by staking to a sleeved joint. The high-pressure rubber hose requires that the ethylene/.alpha.-olefin ratio (by weight) in the EPDM should fall in the range of 45/55 to 58/42 and that the Mooney viscosity of polymer (ML.sub.1+4 100.degree. C.) of the EPDM should fall in the range of 120 to 250. This high-pressure rubber hose manifests dynamic resistance to ozone and mechanical properties such as tensile strength to advantage without any sacrifice of the compression permanent set necessary for the sake of the sealing property.

High-pressure rubber hose

A vulcanizable epoxy group-containing elastomer composition comprising an elastomer containing epoxy groups, a polycarboxylic acid having at least 2 carboxyl groups in the molecule, and either a quaternary ammonium salt or a quaternary phosphonium salt.

Vulcanizable epoxy group-containing elastomer composition

A rubber laminate of a fluororubber layer and an NBR layer firmly bonded through vulcanization is provided. The fluororubber layer is made of a fluororubber compound containing a peroxide vulcanizing agent, polyol vulcanizing agent, or polyamine vulcanizing agent. In the case where the fluororubber compound contains a peroxide vulcanizing agent, it further contains a metal oxide. The NBR layer is made of a functional NBR having a specific functional group which is determined according to the vulcanizing agent contained in the fluororubber compound. In the case where the fluororubber compound contains a peroxide vulcanizing agent or polyol vulcanizing agent, the NBR compound further contains a metal oxide. The two layers are firmly bonded through vulcanization. This rubber laminate is used for automotive fuel hoses and fuel pump diaphragms.

An oil resistant diaphragm having a liquid contacting surface made of a vulcanized rubber composition of, or composed mainly of, partially hydrogenated unsaturated nitrile-conjugated diene copolymer rubber in which at least 50% of the conjugated diene units is hydrogenated. This diaphragm is superior in resistance to deteriorated gasoline and low temperature, and is suitable for the automobile fuel pump.

Diaphragm

An oil resistant rubber hose having an internal layer made of a vulcanized rubber composition of, or composed mainly of, partially hydrogenated unsaturated nitrile-conjugated diene copolymer rubber in which at least 50% of the conjugated diene units is hydrogenated. This rubber hose is superior in resistance to deteriorated gasoline and low temperature, and is suitable for the automobile fuel line.
