In an injection molding machine including a base, a pivot pin provided on the base, and an injection unit supported by the pivot pin so as to be pivotable relative to the base in a pivoting direction, the injection molding machine is equipped with a rod-shaped member configured to cause the injection unit to pivot in the pivoting direction by pushing the injection unit, and a first support member provided on the base and configured to be screw-engaged with the rod-shaped member.

A safety apparatus includes a safety bar that is capable of moving in a mold clamping direction and a mold opening direction, in conjunction with a moving platen provided with a movable mold, and a latch that contacts the safety bar when a door, which is provided in a cover of an injection molding device, is open, wherein the latch includes a notch in a surface thereof on the mold-opening-direction side.

An injection molding machine includes: a moving platen connected to a rear platen via a toggle link and configured to be moved closer to and away from a stationary platen; a guide rod support provided between the rear platen and the moving platen, and configured to support a guide rod for guiding a cross head of the toggle link; a safety rod fixed to the moving platen and extending toward the guide rod support; and a safety latch provided on the guide rod support and configured to restrict movement of the moving platen by engagement with the safety rod.

A clamping device includes: a stationary platen; a rear platen; a tie bar; a moving platen; a toggle mechanism connected to both the rear platen and the moving platen and used for making the moving platen advance and retreat; a guide rod having one end fixed to the rear platen and the other end extending toward the moving platen; a guide rod support supported by the tie bar at a supported part and supporting the guide rod at a supporting part; and a crosshead configured to advance and retreat under guidance by the guide rod. The advance and retreat of the crosshead expands and contracts the toggle mechanism to make the moving platen advance and retreat. The guide rod support is provided in such a manner that the supported part is arranged rearward of the supporting part and closer to the rear platen than the supporting part along a center axis.

Clamping device of injection molding machine

A mold clamping device of an injection molding machine supports a motor fixing member configured to fix a mold opening/closing motor to a rear platen, on a base frame through a support member and slide plates. When viewed from a direction of a drive shaft of the mold opening/closing motor, the width of the support member is formed to progressively increase outwardly from the motor fixing member toward the base frame, and on a portion of the support member that is located on the base frame side, the slide plates are provided at at least both ends of the portion in a width direction of the support member.

Mold clamping device of injection molding machine

A fixed platen of an injection molding machine is provided with a first leg protruding at a substantially central portion of a lower part and secured to a base frame and second legs protruding left and right. Each of the second legs is provided with a thin portion thinner than the fixed platen. Thus, a deformation difference between the upper and lower sides of the fixed platen caused during nozzle touch operation or when the fixed platen is subjected to a mold clamping force can be reduced.

Fixed platen of injection molding machine

A fixed platen of an injection molding machine is constituted by a mold mounting portion, a tie bar support portion disposed to be spaced apart from the mold mounting portion, and a load transmitting portion that connects the mold mounting portion with the tie bar support portion. Furthermore, the load transmitting portion is constituted by a cross-shaped connecting portion, and an extension connecting portion that extends along the outer circumferential portion of the mold mounting portion.

A toggle clamping mechanism for an injection molding machine includes a toggle link, a crosshead connected to the toggle link, and a driving device for driving the crosshead. A ball spline shaft is provided parallel to a ball screw for driving the crosshead. Further, a ball spline nut provided in the crosshead is engaged with the ball spline shaft so that the crosshead may be guided by the ball spline shaft.

Toggle clamping mechanism for injection molding machine

In a mold clamping mechanism for an injection molding machine, a mold platen stiffness adjusting plate is attached to a mold platen (a movable platen, a fixed platen) at the mold attachment surface thereof. The mold platen stiffness adjusting plate is provided, at the mold attachment surface thereof, with elements for mold attachment that have the same shapes and are arranged on the same places as those provided on the mold platen at the mold attachment surface thereof. Accordingly, the same mold can be attached to the mold platen stiffness adjusting plate attached to the mold platen, and can also be attached to the mold platen from which the mold platen stiffness adjusting plate is detached.

Mold clamping mechanism for injection molding machine

In a toggle type mold clamping device including a plurality of link units, a coupling portion of a first link coupled with a toggle driving link is provided on an outer side of an area between a coupling portion of the toggle driving link coupled with a crosshead and a center line of the first link. Furthermore, the first link has a structure in which two members arranged in parallel are coupled and integrated with each other and a space through which the toggle driving link passes is formed between the two coupled members.

Toggle type mold clamping device

An injection molding machine is provided with a linear guide block configured to be guided on a linear guide rail and a guide mounting block which is secured to the linear guide block and supports the movable platen. Two mounting bolts and two adjust bolts are disposed individually at two positions, spanning between the movable platen and the guide mounting block. The size of a gap between the movable platen and the guide mounting block is adjusted by independently tightening the adjust bolts, whereby the horizontal tilt of the movable platen is adjusted.

Movable platen support mechanism

A stationary platen of an injection molding machine is composed of a mold mounting plate, a tie-bar connecting member, and a mold clamping force transmission plate. The mold mounting plate is formed of a planar portion for mold fixing and a cylindrical connecting portion that extends from the planar portion and passes through a central through hole of the tie-bar connecting member. The mold clamping force transmission plate connects the cylindrical connecting portion of the mold mounting plate and the tie-bar connecting member with a predetermined gap therebetween lest the connecting member and the mounting plate come into contact and interfere with each other.

Stationary platen of injection molding machine

A rear platen is moved forward toward a fixed platen as much as the amount corresponding to a mold clamping force which is set in advance, in a state in which the toggle mechanism of a toggle type mold clamping system is contracted, to detect that a fixed mold half attached to the rear platen touches a movable mold half attached to the fixed platen. When mold touch is detected, the rear platen is moved backward as much as the amount of stretch of a tie bar which is generated from the mold touch.

Mold clamping force adjustment device of toggle type injection molding machine

A molding machine including a base frame assembly and a clamping mechanism and an injection mechanism provided on the base frame assembly. The clamping mechanism includes a stationary platen carrying a stationary mold; a movable platen arranged movably relative to the stationary platen and carrying a movable mold; a rear platen disposed at a location opposite to the stationary platen about the movable platen; a tie bar tying the stationary platen and the rear platen with each other; a drive section for applying a drive force to the movable platen so as to move the movable platen relative to the stationary platen; and a platen support movably supporting the movable platen on the base frame assembly. The base frame assembly includes a first base frame supporting a first mass including the stationary platen, and a second base frame supporting a second mass including the movable platen, among the components of the molding machine.
