A control system is mounted with a function of transmitting/receiving a plurality of types of data together. If a plurality of data acquisition requests are made, the system creates a single grouping request by grouping the individual data acquisition requests. The grouping request is transmitted by a single communication session, and a device having received the grouping request acquires a plurality of pieces of data in response to the plurality of data acquisition requests included in the received request, creates the result of grouping of the acquired data, and transmits the result as a response to the grouping request.

Control system

A numerical controller controls driving of an axis installed in a machine based on an instruction of a program, and when predictive detection of occurrence of interference between a movable part which moves by the driving of the axis and another object is made, the numerical controller decelerates and stops movement of the movable part. Further, the numerical controller changes a display attribute of information display relating to the axis based on an operation state of the axis which is being driven when predictive detection of occurrence of interference is made, and displays a coordinate value according to the display attribute that is changed by the attribute change processing part.

Numerical controller facilitating measure to be taken after detection of interference

A numerical controller and a robot controller share interpolation level move data obtained by recording position information for each interpolation period of a robot in association with an index. Based on the interpolation level move data, a preceding position of the robot after the passage of a time (lead time) for calculating a next preceding position since a reference time for interference check is calculated. And, based on the robot preceding position and a preceding position (machine preceding-position) of an axis of the machine after the passage of the lead time, interference between a machine and the robot is checked.

Interference check system for machine tool and robot

When a numerical controller enters a DNC operation mode, a host apparatus transmits NC data to the numerical controller. When the received NC data includes a sub program call, a repeat instruction or a branch instruction, the numerical controller stores search information that is required for executing these instructions. When the numerical controller includes search information, the host apparatus transmits, to the numerical controller, NC data corresponding to the search information. The numerical controller analyzes the received NC data and executes operation.
