An ultrasonic transducer that improves workability of a housing, suppresses variations in resonant frequency, and has stable characteristics is constructed. The ultrasonic transducer includes a bottomed circular cylindrical housing and a piezoelectric element provided at substantially a center of a bottom of the housing. The bottom of the housing has a slope portion that gradually becomes thinner from a position at which the piezoelectric element is provided toward an inner wall surface of the housing, and a flat portion that extends from an outer edge of the slope portion to the inner wall surface of the housing while maintaining a thickness of the outer edge of the slope portion.

Ultrasonic transducer

A conveying apparatus capable for conveying a magnetic workpiece at high speed with low vibration and low noise, superior in durability, and capable of achieving a reduction in driving force. The conveying apparatus includes a non-magnetic rail having a guide surface for slidably guiding a first surface of a workpiece, a non-magnetic belt having a conveying surface in contact with a second surface of the workpiece and movable along the rail, driving means for running the non-magnetic belt in circulation, and a rotatable roller whose peripheral surface is in contact with the surface of the non-magnetic belt opposite to the feeding surface. Provided in the roller is a magnet adapted to generate a magnetic force having a component force for causing the second surface of the workpiece to be attracted to the roller through the intermediation of the non-magnetic belt and a component force for bringing the first surface of the workpiece into contact with the rail.

Conveying apparatus for conveying magnetic workpieces

A conveying device which is capable of conveying a magnetic workpiece at high speed with low vibration and low noise and which makes it possible to perform a highly accurate positioning. The conveying device includes a non-magnetic rail which has a guide surface for slidably guiding a first surface of the workpiece and a non-magnetic conveying belt which has a conveying surface coming into contact with a second surface of the workpiece and which is movable along the rail. The belt is driven to rotate by a driving device. A magnet is arranged at a position opposite to the rail with the belt therebetween and generates a magnetic force having a component force which causes the second surface of the workpiece to be brought into close contact with the belt and a component force which causes the first surface of the workpiece to be brought into contact with the rail.

Magnetic conveying device with non-magnetic guide rails

Disclosed is a piezoelectric resonator device. This piezoelectric resonator device comprises a piezoelectric substrate having an almost rectangular plane shape. The piezoelectric substrate is provided with a slit extending to the inside from one edge of the piezoelectric substrate, for forming a tuning fork portion, and a pair of slits for separating the tuning fork portion, spaced apart from the slit forming the tuning fork portion by a predetermined distance on both sides of the slit forming the tuning fork portion, and approximately parallel with the slit forming the tuning fork portion. Vibrating electrodes are formed on both major surfaces of the piezoelectric substrate at a piezoelectric vibrating portion, between the slits separating the tuning fork portion from non-vibrating portions of the substrate.

Piezoelectric resonator device of tuning fork type including a spacer

Retainer grooves are formed widthwise at a constant pitch on the external surface of a timing belt to retain the lead terminals of an electronic component therein. A magnet is mounted to a rail for guiding the timing belt to attract the lead terminals of the electronic component to the retainer grooves. The electronic component can be prevented from falling off or being displaced due to an inertia force generated at the time of intermittent feed so as to be stably conveyed not only horizontally but also in vertical or circular arc directions.

An apparatus for automatically taping electronic components arranged such that when a timing belt retaining lead terminals of electronic components in its retainer grooves is engaged with a toothed pulley of a first rotary drum, the lead terminals are lifted to be transferred from the timing belt to the first rotary drum. The electronic components are transferred from the first drum to a third rotary drum via a second rotary drum being retained by their retainer teeth. A base tape is fed to the periphery of the third rotary drum and an adhesive tape is applied on the base tape, thereby fixing the lead terminals.

A holding device for holding a plurality of electrical and electronic parts or elements. The holding device of paper or similar resilient material includes a base of tape-like configuration and a plurality of holding portions formed in the longitudinal direction of the base. The holding portion further includes tongue portion formed by a slit which is cut in a direction normal to the longitudinal direction of the base to allow U-shaped lead wires of the electrical parts or elements to be inserted into the base through the slit and to be held in position by pressing the tongue portion into the space defined by the lead wire for efficient handling of such parts and elements as one unit on the base.
