A payment management method and system for performing suitable payment management, wherein a user of a credit IC card can store a transaction history in the IC card, collate the transaction history with charged amount data possessed by a credit company, quickly confirm a payment due date, judge an illegal demand for purchase by a non-authorized user, and know charged amounts claimed for the next time. The system includes the IC car which stores the transaction history data therein, a terminal device for accessing the data within the IC card, and a serve of the credit company connected to the terminal device via network for storing credit user data demanded by a credit member store therein. The terminal device stores transaction history data at the time of a purchase into the IC card, extracts the credit user data from the server of the credit company, and collates the transaction history data read out from the IC card with the credit user data extracted from the server. The terminal device displays the collated result.

Payment management method and system using an IC card

A payment management method and system for performing suitable payment management, wherein a user of a credit IC card can store a transaction history in the IC card, collate the transaction history with charged amount data possessed by a credit company, quickly confirm a payment due date, judge an illegal demand for purchase by a non-authorized user, and know charged amounts claimed for the next time. A structured document generating method and apparatus capable of easily generating a structured document matching the document structure of each non-structured document, by using a rule directly generated from a preset document structure definition for the conversion of the non-structured document into the structured document. A keyword extracting module extracts a keyword representative of the document structure from a non-structured document by using a keyword extracting rule, and a keyword/text model is generated which is described by two elements including keywords and other strings. A parsing module generated by a process of automatically parsing the document structure by referring to a parsing rule generated by modifying and converting DTD, performs a parsing process relative to the keyword/text model to generate an interim SGML document. An SGML document correcting module modifies the interim SGML document and generates a final output of an SGML document by referring to DTD different information generated when the parsing rule was generated.

Method and apparatus for generating structured document

In scaling an image, a projected position is corrected in accordance with pixel values of original pixels surrounding a projected position where a pixel of a scaled image is projected onto an original image, and a pixel value of a pixel of a scaled image is determined in accordance with pixel values of original pixels surrounding a projected position after correction. Further, when a pixel of an original image is processed with a pixel run as a unit, coordinates of an end pixel of a pixel run in a scaled image are corrected based on the width of the pixel run and a scale factor.

Method of scaling an image capable of line width preservation

A route information input apparatus for specifying a route from an entraining station to an arrival station including a pointing device operated by the user to designate a position on a display screen and a data processing apparatus for executing a data processing in accordance with a program prepared in advance each time the user operates the pointing device to thereby change a displayed content on the display screen. On the basis of positional informations of major stations stored in a first file, a line diagram presented in the simplified form in which truly existing stations are partly omitted and in which the major stations are connected by means of line segments is displayed on a first area of the display screen. A group of station name data omitted from the line diagram displayed on the first area are selectively displayed on a second area of the display screen in the form of a table. Then, stations or lines selected from the first area or from the second area by the pointing device are sequentially stored as route specifying informations. As the route is specified, a display form is sequentially changed so that a route portion that was already specified and a line portion that can be selected next can be distinguished from other line portions with ease in the line diagram displayed in the second area.

Route information input apparatus and method thereof

An image data processing system which includes an image memory and an image processor for performing coordinate transformation of source image data expressed by two dimensional coordinates. The image processor includes image memory in which data of source and destination images are stored, a coordinate calculator which calculates at least x and y addresses at a position of a pixel in the source image on the basis of x and y addresses at a position of an associated pixel in the destination image, an interpolation calculator which calculates a pixel value of the destination pixel position through interpolation of source pixel values in the vicinity of the corresponding position in the source image, and a cache apparatus which holds therein part of the pixel values of the source image stored in the image memory, wherein the x and y addresses of the corresponding pixel position of the source image are used as tag and as an index for the cache apparatus respectively, whereby the high rate of the cache apparatus can be increased and the entire processing speed of the image data processing system can be increased.

System for performing coordinate transformation of source image data

An image processing system for extracting a plurality of local images each composed of m.times.n pixels, successively from a two-dimensional original image, to process the extracted local images and to convert the original imae into a second image composed of modified pixel data corresponding to the local images is disclosed which system includes a plurality of local image extracting circuits for temporarily storing time-sequentially applied pixel data in each local image extracting circuit while shifting the storage position thereof, to deliver m.times.n pixels having a predetermined positional relation on the original image, from each local image extracting circuit in parallel, a first data transfer circuit for allotting pixels extracted successively from the original image, to the local image extracting circuits, a local image reconstruction circuit for combining a plurality of pixels from the local image extracting circuits to reconstruct a plurality of local images deviated from each other by one pixel on the original image and to deliver the local images in parallel, a local image processing circuit for processing the local images from the local image reconstruction circuit in parallel, to convert the local images into a plurality of modified pixel data for forming the second image, and a second data transfer circuit for transferring the modified pixel data to an image memory.

Image processing system capable of carrying out local processing for

An image processing apparatus that processes image data consecutively in the column and row directions has an image memory, a reading unit, a temporary memory and an operative unit. The image memory stores image data consecutively in column and row directions on a pixel unit basis. The reading unit reads from the image memory a series of pixels within one column at one row and at least one pixel adjacent to the one row in the column direction. The temporary memory sequentially stores a number of groups of pixels read from the reading unit as is necessary for image processing. The operation unit reads the values of an objective pixel and pixels necessary for a neighborhood operation of the objective pixel from the temporary memory, and subjects the values to a neighborhood operation to determine the output value of the objective pixel.

Image processing method and apparatus therefor

A display control apparatus comprises area specifier, area determiner and signal selector. The area specifier specifies at least one area of a bit map memory. The area determiner determines whether the scan position on the bit map memory is in the specified area or not, and, according to the determination, controls the signal selector so as to send the output of the bit map memory directly or through a look-up table to a display unit. In a modification, the signal selector selects the signal to be sent to the display unit from among the outputs of different look-up tables.

Display control apparatus

In order to utilize memo data written by hand for purposes of retrieving a document, the original document image data is stored and, thereafter, a document image data with memo is separately input, the document image data with memo being comprised of the original document image onto which is additionally written memo data by hand. The position of the document image data with memo is then brought into alignment with the original document image data and is correlated to extract only that memo data which has been written by hand. Then the kind of memo is discriminated, the process is effected depending upon the kind of memo, and the memo data is stored in a secondary data file for retrieval. To retrieve the document, the memo data of a plurality of documents is read out from the secondary data file depending upon the kind of memo that is designated, and is displayed as a look-up table. If the operator designates any one of them, the image of the corresponding original document is read out from the original document image file and is displayed.
