A detergent composition comprising a phosphate-type surface active agent and an alkyl saccharide-type surface active agent is described. The phosphate-type surface active agent which can be used have the following formula (I) or (II), and the alkyl saccharide-type surface active agent have the following formula (III): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, and R.sub.4 represent a linear or branched alkyl, alkenyl group, or alkyl phenyl groups of a C.sub.8-18 carbon atom content, X and Y represent a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal, an ammonium, or an alkanol amine having a hydroxyl alkyl group of a C.sub.2-3 carbon atom content, R.sub.5 represents an alkylene group of a C.sub.2-4 carbon atom content, G represents a reduced sugar of a C.sub.5-6 carbon atom content, and 1, m, n, and p denote a value of 0 to 10. The detergent composition exhibits exceptionally good detergent capability and foaming capability. In addition, it imparts less irritation to the hair and skin, less creaking feeling to the hair, and superior smooth and moistened feeling to the skin.

Detergent composition

A detergent composition comprising a phosphate-type surface active agent and an alkyl saccharide-type surface active agent is described. The phosphate-type surface active agent which can be used have the following formula (I) or (II), and the alkyl saccharide-type surface active agent have the following formula (III): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, and R.sub.4 represent a linear or branched alkyl, alkenyl group, or alkyl phenyl groups of a C.sub.8-18 carbon atom content, X and Y represent a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal, an ammonium, or an alkanol amine having a hydroxyl alkyl group of a a C.sub.2-3 carbon atom content, R.sub.5 represents an alklene group of a C.sub.2-4 carbon atom content, G represents a reduced sugar of a C.sub.5-6 carbon atom content, and l, m, n, and p denote a value of 0 to 10. The detergent composition exhibits exceptionaly good detergent capability and foaming capability. In addition, it imparts less irritation to the hair and skin, less creaking feeling to the hair, and superior smooth and moistened feeling to the skin.

Mild cosmetic cleansing foams containing an HlB3-8 nonionic surfactant

An aerosol preparation containing a cleansing agent and a propellant is provided. The cleansing agent is composed of a phosphate ester surfactant obtained by mixing two alkylphosphate salts a weight ratio of from 70:30 to 20:80. The first alkylphosphate salt is represented by: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 means a C.sub.12-14 hydrocarbon group, X denotes a specific cation, n1 is 0-10, A is R.sub.2 O--CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 O).sub.n2 or --OY, R.sub.2 having the same meaning as R.sub.1, Y denoting a specific cation, and n2 being a value of 0-10. The second alkylphosphate salt is represented by: ##STR2## wherein R.sub.3 is similar to R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 except for inclusion of more carbon atoms, m1 is 0-10, B denotes R.sub.4 O-- --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 O).sub.m2 or --OY, R.sub.4 having the same meaning as R.sub.3, m2 being 0-10 and Y having the same meaning as defined above, X has the same meaning as defined above.

Aerosol preparations containing mixtures of phosphate esters

A creamy cleansing composition comprises the following four components: (A) one or more phosphoric ester surfactants, (B) an organic or inorganic salt, (C) polyethylene glycol and (D) an ethylene oxide addition type non-ionic surface active agent or a cationic surface active agent. The cleansing composition is gentle to the skin or hair, and stable without separation for a long period of time.

Creamy cleansing compositions

An antibacterial soap comprising 2,4,4'-trichloro-2'-hydroxydiphenylether in a range of 0.05 to 5% by weight and at least one organic phosphoric ester represented by the formula, ##STR1## wherein R represents an alkyl group having 8 to 20 carbon atoms, or a group of ##STR2## in which R.sub.1 is an alkyl group having 8 to 20 carbon atoms, R.sub.2 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and n is an integer of 1 to 10; R' represents the same group as R, or a hydrogen atom or an alkali metal; and M represents a hydrogen atom or an alkali metal exerts a wide range of antibacterial activities and marked resistance to discoloration upon exposure to sunlight.
