A correction circuit including: a first selector and a second selector that each select and output either of a first input signal or a second input signal, the first input signal and the second input signal having phases that are orthogonal to one another; a first multiplier carrying out multiplication of an output of the first selector and a first coefficient; a second multiplier carrying out multiplication of an output of the second selector and a second coefficient; a first adder carrying out addition of the first input signal and a multiplication result of the first multiplier; and a second adder carrying out addition of the second input signal and a multiplication result of the second multiplier, wherein an addition result of the first adder and an addition result of the second adder are outputted from a first output terminal and a second output terminal, respectively.

A trigonometric function calculating device includes: an address generator that generates an address signal that is formed from plural bit strings and corresponds to a phase; a trigonometric function table that stores first sines and first cosines that respectively correspond to phases expressed by upper bits of the address signals, and second sines and a second cosines that respectively correspond to phases expressed by lower bits of the address signals; a calculation circuit that outputs, as a calculated value, a sine that corresponds to the address signal by calculating processing using the first sine, the first cosine, the second sine and the second cosine that correspond to the address signal and have been extracted by referring to the trigonometric function table; and a correcting section that corrects the calculated value on the basis of a correction value corresponding to the address signal.

A battery monitoring system includes a plurality of battery monitoring devices connected in series, such that each battery monitoring device is in communication with at least one adjacent battery monitoring device, and each battery monitoring device monitors battery cells. First and second interface devices are located along first and second communication paths including the battery monitoring devices. A controller controls the first and second interface devices to switch transmission modes between transmitting along the first communication path via the first interface device and the battery monitoring devices, transmitting along the second communication path via the second interface device and the battery monitoring devices, and transmitting along a third transmission mode in which a direction of the communication signals outputted from the first interface device and the second interface device to the plurality of battery monitoring devices are reversed.

A semiconductor device includes a serial resistance element section including plural resistance elements connected in series, each resistance element provided so as to correspond to one of a plural battery cells connected in series; a comparison section that compares a voltage of a connection point of the plural battery cells connected in series to a voltage of a connection point between the resistance elements that correspond to the battery cells; and a measurement section that measures a voltage of one of the plural battery cells.

A shield casing, which is configured to surround an electronic component mounted on a circuit board, includes a frame body including an engagement recess and a lid body including a hook unit configured to engage with the engagement recess. The lid body is fitted to the frame body to cover the frame body. The hook unit is elastically deformable in a second direction that is opposite to a first direction in which the lid body is fitted to the frame body as the lid body is fitted to the frame body, and then snaps into mating engagement in the engagement recess.

A battery including a battery cell provided with an electrode terminal protruding from a side, a circuit board attached along sides of the battery cell, and a resin mould section which partially covers the circuit board and the battery cell, thereby integrating them. The circuit board includes rigid base sections for mounting components, and a flexible base section which connects between the rigid base sections and can bend flexibly. The rigid base section is provided with a pierced aperture, which pierces the rigid base section in the thickness direction, and into which an electrode terminal is fitted, and an electrically conductive material which is electrically connected to the wiring of the rigid base section, and electrically connected to the electrode terminal provided in the pierced aperture. The circuit board may be easily positioned in relation to the battery cell.

Battery

A terminal includes a base portion having a mounting portion to be mounted on a circuit board and an extended portion extending from one end portion of the mounting portion toward the mounting surface side of the circuit board, and a terminal portion made of a conductive material and formed to extend from an front surface of the extended portion which is flush with one end face of the mounting portion through a mounting side surface of the mounting portion. The terminal is mounted on the circuit board such that the mounting side surface of the terminal is abutted on a mounting surface of the circuit board, and the extended portion is projected toward a surface side of the circuit board which is located away from its mounting surface, so as to configure a portable device.

Terminal and portable device using the same

A portable terminal device includes a connector that opens from a lateral surface of a case and electrically connects with another terminal device, an elastic connector cap that opens and closes an opening of the case, and a holder that maintains the opening in a closed state. The connector cap includes a first wall that protrudes perpendicularly to the lateral surface from a periphery of the opening located on one end of the case, and a second wall that protrudes from the other end of the case, is continuous with the first wall, and is coupled to swing freely to the other end. When the opening is closed, the first wall is exposed on a top surface of the case roughly perpendicularly to the thickness direction, and its distal end is located farther away from the opening relative to a coupling section of the second wall.

In order to provide a battery in which a molded section can be fixed to a battery cell, a battery comprises a battery cell, a circuit board which is attached to the battery cell, an electrode terminal which connects the battery cell and the circuit board electrically, a molded section which adheres the circuit board and the electrode terminal to the battery cell as an entire unit, adhesion strengthened areas which are formed between the electrode terminal and the battery, and electrode terminal inner surface resin sections which are formed in a part of the molded section of the adhesion strengthened area.
