Embodiments described herein relate a mobile communication device and techniques to suppress deterioration of antenna characteristics. The mobile device includes metallic members that are disposed around, or in portions of a casing of the mobile device. The metallic member is grounded directly to a ground plane of the mobile device at a first predetermined position. The grounded metallic member forms a stub line that cancels a flow of electric current though the metallic member. Furthermore, the metallic member is also connected to the ground plane, at a second predetermined location, via a resonant circuit. The mobile device is capable of adjusting a phase of the antenna current flowing through the device, when the mobile device is being operated by a user, and thus suppresses deterioration of antenna characteristics in certain desired frequency bands.

Mobile communication device

Discussed herein is an antenna system that comprises a feed element and a radiating element that are formed on a dielectric substrate positioned above a circuit board which includes a feed circuit and a ground layer. Specifically, the feed element is disposed within an outer periphery defined by the radiating element. A capacitive coupling is formed between the feed element and the radiating element. With the aforesaid configuration, the antenna system is less affected by the circuit board and interference from other elements that are mounted on the circuit board. Further, manufacturing costs are reduced as compared to the case where the feed element and the radiating element are respectively formed on a front and rear surface of a resin layer.

An antenna-equipped connector comprising a plug having separate conductive portions and configured to be received by an audio output jack of an electronic device, a jack configured to connect to the conductive portions of the plug via respective of at least two conductive lines, an antenna connection node that branches from a branching point on one of the at least two conductive lines, and an antenna connected to the antenna connection node.

Embodiments include a communication device, having a wireless communication processor. The communication device includes an antenna connected to a feeding point of the wireless communication processor. The communication device also includes a metal component disposed proximal the antenna and a circuit board including a ground plane. The communication device further includes a first conductive line and a second conductive line which connect the ground plane to two locations on the antenna, on one end and the other end of a location proximal the metal component.

An actuator includes: a coil for excitation; a stator excited with different magnetic poles by energization of the coil; a rotor magnetized with different magnetic poles in a circumferential direction, and rotated by magnetic force generating between the rotor and the stator; and an outputting member rotated in conjunction with the rotor and outputting rotational movement of the rotor to a member. The outputting member fits onto the rotor, and the rotor has at least one of a recess portion and a projection portion at a fitting surface of the rotor. The outputting member is jointed with the rotor so as to have a shape corresponding to the at least one of the recess portion and the projection portion by welding.
