Disclosed herein is a coil component that includes a core, first to fourth terminal electrodes provided on a first flange part, fifth to eighth terminal electrodes provided on a second flange part, first and second wires bifilar wound around a winding core part, and third and fourth wires bifilar wound around the winding core part. One and other ends of the first to eighth wires are connected corresponding one of the first to eighth terminal electrodes. The first and second wires cross each other in a first crossing area. The third and fourth wires cross each other in a second crossing area different from the first crossing area.

Coil component and circuit board having the same

A coil device has a core including a winding core portion and a flange portion formed on an X-axis-direction end portion of the winding core portion, a coil portion formed by wires being wound around the winding core portion, and terminal electrodes provided on the flange portion. Leadout portions of the wires are respectively connected to the terminal electrodes. A main protuberance having a protuberating shape is formed on an upper surface of the flange portion. The first and second leadout portions of the wires are connected to the first and second terminal electrodes outside the main protuberance in the X-axis direction.

Coil device

A coil device includes a core including a winding core portion and a flange portion provided in an end portion of the winding core portion in an X-axis direction, a coil portion formed by a first wire and a second wire being wound around the winding core portion, and a first terminal electrode formed on one end side of the flange portion in a Y-axis direction, a first lead portion of the first wire being connected to the first terminal electrode, and a second terminal electrode formed on the other end side of the flange portion in the Y-axis direction, a second lead portion of the second wire being connected to the second terminal electrode. The width of the flange portion along X-axis-direction is different between one end and the other end of the flange portion in the Y-axis-direction.

Disclosed herein is a coil component that includes an insulating substrate, a first coil part formed on the first surface of the insulating substrate, and a second coil part formed on the second surface of the insulating substrate. At least an innermost turn of the first coil part is radially separated by spiral-shaped slits into three or more conductor parts. At least an innermost turn of the second coil part is radially separated by spiral-shaped slits into three or more conductor parts. Inner peripheral ends of respective innermost to outermost conductor parts of the three or more conductor parts of the first coil part are connected to inner peripheral ends of the respective outermost to innermost conductor parts of the three or more conductor parts of the second coil part.

Coil component

Disclosed herein is a coil component that includes a magnetic core having first and second through holes extending in a first direction and arranged in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, and a conductive plate including first and second body parts inserted respectively through the first and second through holes. The magnetic core includes a middle leg part positioned between the first and second through holes, a first outer leg part positioned on an opposite side to the middle leg part across the first through hole, and a second outer leg part positioned on an opposite side to the middle leg part across the second through hole. Area of each of the first and second outer leg parts defined by the first and second directions is larger than that of the middle leg part.

A single disc is configured to deal with both HD DVD information and DVD information. This invention has the following basic elements (1) a single-sided dual layer optical disc where a light transmission layer, a first recording layer accessed with a first laser beam, an space layer, and a second recording layer accessed with a second laser beam are arranged in that order in the direction in which a laser beam enters, (2) the areal recoding density of the second recording layer is three times or more that of the first recording layer, (3) information indicating that the second recording layer has been formed is formed in the first recording layer, and (4) information indicating that the first recording layer has been formed is formed in the second recording layer.

An optical disc manufacturing apparatus () recording a BCA code constituted by plural marks and including a secret code which is modulated in a range capable of recognizing a position in a radial direction of an optical disc and/or a position in a track direction of the plural marks as the BCA code, a BCA history database () storing a history including a correspondence between the BCA code of an optical disc () recording the BCA code and the secret code, and a management center () reading the BCA code and the secret code recorded on the optical disc so as to compare both on the basis of input of the correspondence between the BCA code and the secret code stored in the BCA history database () are employed, whereby an illegally manufactured optical disc () can be easily found by inspecting the recorded BCA code and secret code.

Optical disc, illegal copy finding system and method using optical disc, optical disc manufacturing apparatus and optical disc manufacturing method

A single-sided dual-layer optical disc comprising an optically transparent layer; a first recording layer accessed by a first laser beam; an intermediate layer; and a second recording layer accessed by a second laser beam, wherein the optically transparent layer, the first recording layer, the intermediate layer, and the second recording layer are sequentially disposed in a laser beam incidence direction, wherein a thickness of the optically transparent layer, which is a distance from a light incident surface to the first recording layer, is 550 to 575 &#x3bc;m, wherein a thickness of the intermediate layer, which is a distance between the first and second recording layers, is 29 to 47 &#x3bc;m, and wherein a surface recording density of the second recording layer is at least 3 times that of the first recording layer.

Optical disc and optical disc device

An optical disc is based on the following the distance of the light transmission layer from a light incidence plane to the first recording layer is a minimum of 550 &#x3bc;m. The distance between the first and the third recording layer is a maximum of 72 &#x3bc;m. The distance between the second and the third recording layer is a minimum of 15 &#x3bc;m. The distance between the first and the second recording layer is about 31 to 40 &#x3bc;m. The reflectivities of the first and the second recording layer with respect to the first laser beam are 18% or more, and the ratio between the reflectivities is about 1.15 or less. The areal recording density of the third recording layer is three times or more as high as the areal recording density of the first and the second recording layer.

Single-sided triple layer optical disc

According to one embodiment, an optical disc is the following the distance between a light incidence plane and the first recording layer is a minimum of 550 &#x3bc;m. The distance between the first and the third recording layer is a maximum of 72 &#x3bc;m. The distance between the second and the third recording layer is a minimum of 15 &#x3bc;m. The distance between the first and the second recording layer is about 31 to 40 &#x3bc;m. The reflectivities of the first and the second recording layer with respect to the first laser beam range from 18 to 27%, and the ratio therebetween is about 1.1 or less. The reflectivity of the third recording layer is below about 6%. The areal recording density of the third recording layer is three times or more as high as that of the first recording layer and the second recording layer.

Optical disc, optical disc manufacturing method, and optical disc apparatus

An optical disc of this invention is configured to be capable of dealing with both information in HD DVD and information in DVD. The optical disc is basically specified by the following items (1) to (7): (1) the optical disc is a single-sided dual layer optical disc where a light transmission layer, a first recording layer accessed with a first laser beam, an space layer, and a second recording layer accessed with a second laser beam are arranged in that order in the direction in which the laser beam enters, (2) the areal recoding density of the second recording layer is three times or more as high as that of the first recording layer, (3) identifying information which indicates that the first recording layer has been formed is formed in the second recording layer, (4) the distance in the light transmission layer from the incidence plane to the first recording layer is 550 &#x3bc;m or more, (5) the distance in the light transmission layer from the incidence plane to the second recording layer is 622 &#x3bc;m or less, (6) the reflectivity of the first recording layer with respect to the first laser beam is 45% to 65%, and (7) the reflectivity of the second recording layer with respect to the second laser beam is 15% to 29%.
