In a battery module, end plates disposed at both ends of battery stack are connected by binding bars. Electrode terminals of respective battery cells and voltage detection circuit of electronic circuit block are connected by a plurality of voltage detection lines. Electronic circuit block is disposed on an outer surface of end plate and fixes one connector formed by linearly disposing a plurality of connecting terminals to which voltage detection lines are connected to circuit board on which voltage detection circuit is mounted. Voltage detection circuit is provided with a plurality of input terminals arranged in a linear manner. In circuit board, connecting terminal and input terminal disposed at opposite positions are connected by a plurality of connection lines. A cell voltage of each battery cell is input from connection line to adjacent input terminals.

Battery module, and electric vehicle and power storage device equipped with battery module

A first voltage output unit generates a cyclic voltage that changes cyclically, and applies the cyclic voltage to the other end of a coupling capacitor via a first resistance. A second resistance and a third resistance are connected in series between a node and a second voltage output unit, the node being between the coupling capacitor and the first resistance. A voltage measurement unit measures a voltage at a voltage dividing point between the second resistance and the third resistance. In a period in which two types of fixed voltages are applied to the voltage dividing point in order, a diagnosing unit determines whether the leakage detecting device is in a normal state, based on the voltage measured by the voltage measurement unit.

Earth leakage detecting device, and vehicular power supply system

An earth leakage detection device includes the following items. Voltage output unit generates a periodically changing periodic voltage and applies the periodic voltage to the other end of coupling capacitor via first resistor. Second resistor and third resistor are connected in series between a connection point between coupling capacitor and first resistor, and a predetermined fixed potential. Voltage measurement unit measures a voltage at a voltage dividing point between second resistor and third resistor. Diagnosis unit determines whether or not coupling capacitor is normal based on a voltage measured when switch is turned on in a state where voltage output unit outputs a fixed voltage.

Earth leakage detection device and vehicle power supply system

In leakage detection device, coupling capacitor has a first end connected to a current path of power storage unit connected to load in a state of being insulated from a ground. Voltage output unit generates a periodic voltage that changes periodically, and applies the periodic voltage to a second end of coupling capacitor via impedance element. Voltage output unit measures a voltage at a node between coupling capacitor and impedance element. Leakage determination unit estimates at least one of an upper peak value and a lower peak value at a certain time, calculates a peak-to-peak value between the upper peak value and the lower peak value with virtually aligned time axes, and determines presence or absence of a leakage between a current path of power storage unit and the ground.

Leakage detection device and power system for vehicle

In first coupling capacitor, a first terminal is connected to a first connection point on a current path of power storage in a state of being insulated from a ground. Second coupling capacitor has a second terminal connected to a second connection point that is on a current path of power storage and is lower in potential than the first connection point, and second coupling capacitor has a first terminal connected to a second terminal of first coupling capacitor. AC output unit applies a predetermined AC voltage via impedance element to third connection point between the second terminal of first coupling capacitor and the first terminal of second coupling capacitor. Voltage measurement unit measures a voltage at third connection point. Determination unit determines the presence or absence of an electrical fault on the basis of the voltage measured by voltage measurement unit.

Electrical fault detection device and vehicle power supply system

In execution of an equalization process between a plurality of cells connected in series, power supply system is provided. In power supply system, control circuit performs active balancing between a plurality of cells included in each of a plurality of series cell groups, using a plurality of active cell balancing circuits, and performs passive balancing between the plurality of series cell groups. Voltage detection circuit connected to a series cell group being undergoing the passive balancing and consuming power is supplied with power from first power supply circuit. Voltage detection circuit connected to series cell group being undergoing active cell balancing by active cell balancing circuit is supplied with power from second power supply circuit higher in efficiency than first power supply circuit.

Power supply system and management device

An earth leakage detecting device comprises following elements. A first end of coupling capacitor is connected to a current path of power storage connected to load in a state of being insulated from a ground. Voltage output unit generates a periodic voltage that changes periodically, and applies the periodic voltage to a second end of coupling capacitor via impedance element. Voltage measurer measures a voltage at a connection point between coupling capacitor and impedance element. Earth leakage determiner determines presence or absence of an earth leakage between the current path of power storage and the ground on the basis of the measured voltage. Voltage output unit has a preparation period for constantly outputting a potential between a high-side potential and a low-side potential of the periodic voltage before a measurement period for outputting the periodic voltage.

Earth leakage determination unit determines presence or absence of an earth leakage between the current path of power storage unit and the ground based on the measured voltage.

In electrical fault detection device that is mounted on a vehicle and includes: energy storage unit to be mounted in a state of being insulated from a chassis ground of the vehicle; first switch inserted into positive wire; and second switch inserted into negative wire, in order to suppress a total cost by not using an expensive component while securing detection accuracy, electrical fault detection device further includes coupling capacitor, AC output unit, first voltage measurement unit, first determination unit, voltage dividing circuit, second voltage measurement unit, and second determination unit. Voltage dividing circuit is connected between positive wire between first switch and one end of load and negative wire between second switch and the other end of load.

In order to detect a cell voltage with high accuracy during an equalizing process among a plurality of cells, during execution of the equalizing process among the plurality of cells, controller measures a value of a current flowing to a negative electrode of an nth cell through an nth discharge resistor, calculates an (n&#x2212;1)th voltage drop value due to a wiring resistance value of an (n&#x2212;1)th wiring and an nth voltage drop value due to a wiring resistance value of an nth wiring based on the measured current value, and the wiring resistance value of the (n&#x2212;1)th wiring connected to a positive electrode of the nth cell and a wiring resistance value of the nth wiring connected to the negative electrode of the nth cell, the wiring resistance value of the (n&#x2212;1)th wiring and the wiring resistance value of the nth wiring being measured in advance, and, based on the (n&#x2212;1)th voltage drop value and the nth voltage drop value, corrects the voltage value of the nth cell, a voltage value of an (n&#x2212;1)th cell, and a voltage value of an (n+1)th cell measured by voltage measurement circuit.

Management device and power storage system capable of correcting measured voltages of multiple cells connected in series

A voltage measurement unit measures voltages of the plurality of cells connected in series. A plurality of discharge circuits are connected in parallel to the plurality of cells, respectively. A controller controls, based on the voltages of the plurality of cells detected by voltage measurement unit, the plurality of discharge circuits to make the voltages or capacities of the plurality of cells equal to a target value. The controller determines a number of cells to be discharged among the plurality of cells in accordance with an allowable temperature of a substrate having the plurality of discharge circuits.

Management device and electricity storage system

In order to improve safety while suppressing a decrease in efficiency of an equalizing process between a plurality of cells, controller executes an equalizing process between a plurality of cells by controlling a plurality of discharge circuits based on voltages of the plurality of cells measured by voltage measurement unit. Anomaly determination circuit determines whether or not the voltage of each of cells measured by voltage measurement unit is within a normal range. Controller includes, for each first cycle, a first discharge suspension period during which the voltages of the plurality of cells are measured without an influence of the equalizing process during execution of the equalizing process between the plurality of cells and includes, for each second cycle longer than the first cycle, a second discharge suspension period during which a determination result according to anomaly determination circuit is fixed.

A full charge capacity value correction circuit includes: a current detection portion which detects a current value in a secondary battery; a voltage detection portion which detects a terminal voltage value of the secondary battery; a capacity storage portion which stores a full charge capacity value of the secondary battery; a remaining quantity calculation portion which calculates a remaining charging quantity in the secondary battery a remaining quantity estimation portion which estimates a remaining quantity of the secondary battery and a full charge capacity value correction portion which, when an estimated remaining quantity becomes equal to a reference value set in advance, adds a difference electrical quantity, to the full charge capacity value stored in the capacity storage portion, or subtracts the difference electrical quantity from the full charge capacity value stored in the capacity storage portion based on an estimated remaining quantity and an accumulated remaining quantity.
