According to one embodiment, an electronic apparatus includes a main body including an input unit placed on an upper face thereof, a display panel including a display surface and a rear surface opposite to the display surface, a hinge section, that joins the display panel to the main body, the hinge section including a pivot shaft pivotably supporting the display panel relative to the input unit and a rotation shaft rotatably holding the display panel relative to the main body, the rotation shaft extending in a different direction from the pivot shaft, and a reception section disposed on the upper face, and including a projection. The projection abuts on an edge of the display panel on which the rotation shaft is disposed, in a direction in which the display panel swings around the pivot shaft.

According to one embodiment, an electronic apparatus includes a housing and a button. The housing contains a switch. The button is arranged in the housing, opposed to the switch and configured to operate the switch. The switch is positioned off a center of the button.

According to one embodiment, an electronic apparatus includes a main body, a display panel, and a hinge. The main body includes a housing having a main wall and a first engaging portion placed inside the housing. A space portion is created between the first engaging portion and a plane defined by an inner surface of the main wall. The hinge includes a first fixing member fixed to the housing, a second fixing member fixed to the display panel, and a connection member which rotatably connects the second fixing member to the first fixing member. The first fixing member has a base located opposite the main wall with respect to the first engaging portion and a second engaging portion which is to be inserted into the space portion to engage with the first engaging portion.

According to one embodiment, an electronic apparatus has a first housing having a first cover, a second housing having a second cover, and a hinge device. The hinge device connects rotationally the first housing and second housing, and has a hinge shaft, a first arm and a second arm. The first arm is covered by the first cover, and one end is connected to the hinge shaft, and the other end is fixed to the first housing. The second arm is covered by the second cover, and one end is connected to the hinge shaft, and the other end is fixed to the second housing. The first cover and second cover have opposed parts around the hinge shaft, and have a projection which is provided in one opposed part, and slidingly contacts the other opposed part.

The second housing rotates between a closed position to be superposed on the first housing, and an open position to expose the first housing, and has a wall. The electronic apparatus includes a latch that mechanically connects the second housing to the first housing in the closed position, and the latch has a slid member that is slidably mounted on the wall. The slid member has an outer surface with a first rib and a second rib. The first rib is arranged on the outer surface, extended in the direction crossing the sliding direction of the slid member. The electronic apparatus has second rib arranged in one of on the slid member or on the wall, extended in the direction crossing a second housing rotating direction.

An electronic apparatus comprises a main body, a unit support portion provided in the main body, and an input unit to be set in the unit support portion. The input unit has an edge portion to be engaged with the unit support portion. A first holding member holds a portion of the input unit, which is different from the edge portion, to the unit support portion. A second holding member holds a portion of the input unit, which is different from the portion held by the first holding member, to the unit support portion.

An electronic apparatus has a first housing, a second housing, and speakers. The first housing and second housing are so coupled as to be movable between a first position away from each other and a second position in which one of them is laid on the other. The speaker is provided in the first housing. A first opening is situated at a place covered over the second housing when it is in the second position and corresponding to the speaker. A second opening is located on the second housing at a place corresponding to the first opening when the second housing is in the second position. A third opening is provided in the second housing situated on the outer side at the second position and communicates with the second opening.
