A control method for an information processing apparatus including a processor includes: obtaining information about an amount of an item stored in a storage structure; determining whether the information about the amount of the item satisfies a first condition or not, the first condition indicating that the amount of the item is less than or equal to a given amount; and, when the first condition is satisfied, displaying, on a display, a screen including: information about the item; information related to the amount of the item, indicating that the amount of the item is less than or equal to the given amount; and a purchase suggestion for a product corresponding to the item.

Control method and information processing apparatus

A device control apparatus periodically transmits a status confirmation signal to a control source device described in a cooperation control table and receives a response signal with respect to the status confirmation signal. Device control apparatus determines whether or not a status included in the response signal matches a status described in the cooperation control table. If they match, a control destination device, an operation and a control command corresponding to the operation are specified using the cooperation control table. A configuration for transmitting a control command with respect to the control destination device is provided. Therefore, even in a case where a communication protocol and the control command are different from one another in makers of devices, it is possible to realize cooperation control.

A camera body, to which a lens unit configured to form an optical image of a subject is attachable, comprises a body mount to which the lens unit is attachable, an imaging element configured to convert the optical image of the subject into an electrical signal, and a shutter unit. The shutter unit is disposed between the body mount and the imaging element and provided so that an optical path can be blocked between the lens unit and the imaging element. The shutter unit is configured to be in an open state while the lens unit is removed from the body mount.

Camera body

A camera bodycomprises a body mount, a CMOS image sensor, a shutter unit, and a shutter controller. The body mountallows the lens unitto be mounted. The CMOS image sensoris configured to convert an optical image of a subject into an electric signal. The shutter unitis disposed between the body mountand the CMOS image sensor, and is configured to block the optical path between the lens unitand the CMOS image sensor. The shutter controlleris configured to control the shutter unitto maintain the shutter unitin the open state in a state in which the supply of power is halted.

Camera body and imaging device

There are provided an image display device and an imaging device with which efficiency can be improved in the comparison of a plurality of images. A digital camera includes a liquid crystal monitor, a body microcomputer, and an image display controller. The body microcomputer has a display manager and a selector. The liquid crystal monitor has a first display region and a second display region and is configured to display images recorded to a recording medium. The display manager is configured to manage as display objects one or more images that have yet to be displayed on the liquid crystal monitor in a specific mode. The selector is configured to select an image from among the display objects as a selected image for display on the liquid crystal monitor. The image display controller is configured to display the selected image in the first display region or the second display region.

Image display device and imaging device

An interchangeable lens unit comprises a second lens group unit, a focus lens unit, a fourth lens group unit, a zoom ring unit, and a focus motor. The zoom ring unit mechanically transmits operational force inputted to a zoom ring to the second lens group unit and the fourth lens group unit. The focus motor electrically drives the focus lens unit in the Z axis direction with respect to the second lens group unit. When the zoom ring is operated in a state in which no power is being supplied to the focus motor, a gap is always ensured in the Z axis direction between the focus lens unit and the second lens group unit.

Lens barrel and imaging device

A camera body () comprises a housing (), a body mount (), an imaging sensor (), a display section (), a mounting detector (), and an image display controller (). The display section () is capable of displaying an image on the basis of an image signal acquired by the imaging sensor (). The mounting detector () is capable of detecting the mounting state of an interchangeable lens unit () with respect to the body mount (). The image display controller () controls the display section () so that the mounting state of the display section () is switched on the basis of the detection result of the mounting detector ().

Camera body and imaging device controlling display based on detected mounting state of lens

An imaging apparatus with improved convenience, which can perform various types of processing using an imaging device while performing phase difference detection, is provided. An imaging unit () includes an imaging device () for performing photoelectric conversion to convert light into an electrical signal, the imaging device () configured so that light passes through the imaging device (), a phase difference detection unit () for receiving the light having passed through the imaging device () to perform phase difference detection, a focus lens group () for adjusting a focus position, and a body control section () for controlling the imaging device () and controlling driving of the focus lens group () at least based on a detection result of the phase difference detection unit. The body control section () performs a focus operation based on a detection result of the phase difference detection unit during exposure of the imaging device.

Imaging apparatus

A camera system that can maintain a good focus state regardless of the speed of zooming during variable proportion zooming is provided. The camera system has a control portion that, based on information on the speed of the change in the focal length, determines whether to control a focus lens drive portion in either a first control mode or a second control mode. If it determines that control is to be performed in the first control mode, then the control portion controls the focus lens drive portion so that it drives a focus lens in the direction that brings a predetermined captured object into focus based on estimated values for auto focusing that have been calculated from the image data at various positions by controlling the focus lens drive portion so that the captured object distance is moved forward and backward in the optical axis direction. If the control portion determines that control is to be performed in the second control mode, then the control portion controls the focus lens drive portion based on a tracking table.

Camera system, camera body, interchangeable lens unit, and focus control method

A digital camera comprises an interchangeable lens unit and a camera body. The interchangeable lens unit is provided to form an optical image of a subject. A flash memory is configured to hold a correction coefficient table used to electrically correct distortion produced by the optical system. The camera body has a CCD image sensor, a correction coefficient acquisition part, an operation part, and a correction processor. The correction coefficient acquisition part is configured to acquire the correction coefficient table held in the flash memory. The operation part is configured to produce correction data by performing an interpolation operation or an extrapolation operation on the information obtained from the correction coefficient table. The correction processor is configured to correct distortion in the image data on the basis of information produced by the operation part.

Imaging device and camera body

A display is provided with: a substrate; a plurality of parallel scan wires extending over the substrate in a first direction; a plurality of parallel data wires extending parallel to a surface of the substrate in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction; at least one switching element per intersection between the scan wires and the data wires; pixel electrodes connected to the switching elements; at least one phosphor layer provided above the pixel electrodes; and common electrodes provided above the phosphor layer, and the phosphor layer has a polycrystalline structure made of a first semiconductor material and a second semiconductor material segregated between grain boundaries in the polycrystalline structure, which is different from the first semiconductor material.

Display apparatus

A light emitting device includes a pair of electrodes facing to each other and a phosphor layer which is sandwiched between the pair of electrodes and includes phosphor particles placed therein. The phosphor particles include an n-type nitride semiconductor part and a p-type nitride semiconductor part, the n-type nitride semiconductor part and the p-type nitride semiconductor part are made of respective single crystals having wurtzite-type crystal structures having c axes parallel with each other, and the phosphor particles include an insulation layer provided to overlie one end surface out of their end surfaces perpendicular to the c axes.

Light emitting element

An imaging apparatus which can perform phase difference detection while causing light to enter an imaging device is provided. An imaging unit () includes an imaging device () for receiving light to perform photoelectric conversion, the imaging device () being configured so that light passes through the imaging device (), a phase difference detection unit () including a line sensor () for receiving the light which has passed through the imaging device () to perform phase difference detection, and a condenser lens (), provided between the imaging device () and the line sensor (), for bending an optical path of the light which has passed through the imaging device () to direct the light to the line sensor ().

A camera includes an optical system, a housing, an image blur corrector, a displacement acquisition section, a rotary driver, a correction computer, and a drive controller. The displacement acquisition section is configured to acquire the amount of displacement of the housing. The rotary driver is configured to rotationally drive the displacement acquisition section with respect to the housing. The correction computer is configured to calculate a first correction amount at the image blur corrector from the displacement amount acquired by the displacement acquisition section. The drive controller is configured to control the operation of the rotary driver, and also controls the operation of the image blur corrector on the basis of the first correction amount.
