Power supply device includes: a battery stack in which a plurality of battery cells each having an electrode terminal on an upper surface of an outer covering can are stacked; and a plurality of bus bars connecting electrode terminals of adjacent battery cells to each other. Bus bar includes window opened through which a part of electrode terminal of battery cell can be visually recognized in a state of being overlapped with electrode terminal in plan view. As a result, even when bus bar is overlapped on electrode terminal, electrode terminal on the lower side can be visually recognized through window, so that the connection position and the height can be confirmed, and the reliability of connection can be enhanced.

Power supply device includes: a pair of end plates disposed on both ends in a stacking direction of battery stack constituted by stacking a plurality of secondary battery cells; and a plurality of fastening members fastening the pair of end plates together. Each of fastening members includes fastening main face having a flat plate shape and locking block fixed to a corner of fastening main face Each of end plates is formed with step that locks locking block while being fastened by fastening members, and has end plate screw hole opened near step. Each of fastening members has fastening side through hole opened so as to align with end plate screw hole while having each of end plates fastened, and has a fixing region fixing locking block to fastening main face disposed in a direction further away from each of end plates than fastening side through hole.

A battery block is provided with: a plurality of cylindrical batteries of each of which the two ends are formed as positive and negative electrodes; and a lead plate which is connected to the electrodes of the cylindrical batteries. The cylindrical batteries are provided with battery cans having bottom plates provided with bottom surface electrodes and exhaust valves. The exhaust valves which are provided in the bottom plates open as a result of thin-walled lines breaking at a threshold pressure. The exhaust valves are provided inside the loop-shaped thin-walled lines provided in the bottom plates, said thin-walled lines having unconnected portions. The unconnected portions form hinge parts. Furthermore, the bottom surface electrodes provided in the bottom plates connect the lead plate to the hinge parts. The lead plate has cut-out portions provided in positions facing areas including the thin-walled lines.
