The present invention provides a laminated body comprising a uniaxially stretched laminate composed of (I) a first thermoplastic resin layer and (II) an adhesion layer which has a lower melting point than said first thermoplastic resin layer (I) and is provided on at least one surface of said thermoplastic resin layer (I), said adhesion layer (II) being composed of a composition containing (A) 100 to 30% by weight of an .alpha.-olefin (co)polymer having a melt flow rate of 0.01 g to 100 g/10 minutes obtained by (co)polymerizing an .alpha.-olefin in the presence of a catalyst which includes at least one compound of a transition metal of Group IV in the Periodic Table containing a ligand having a cyclopentadienyl skeleton, and (B) up to 70% by weight of an olefin-based polymer; in one embodiment, the present invention relates to a nonwoven or woven fabric and a reinforced laminated body, each derived from the laminated body.

A base fabric used for producing an adhesive tape and the adhesive tape with the same, which adhesive tape has good transversely tearable property and small in thickness, said base fabric being composed of at least one longitudinal base material of stretched unidirectionally aligned nonwoven fabric which is made by spinning a thermoplastic resin into a long filament nonwoven fabric and stretching it in one direction so as to aligne its filaments almost in one direction.

A multilayered packaging material having good piercing resistance and tearability and being excellent in appearance, transparency and so forth, can be produced by orienting multilayered structure which is composed of a polyamide resin layer and other thermoplastic resin layer(s) at a monoaxially stretching ratio of 1.5- to 7.0-fold in such a manner that the thickness of the polyamide resin layer is 3 to 30 .mu.m and the thickness(es) of the other thermoplastic resin layer(s) is (are) at least twice as much as that of the polyamide resin layer.

Monoaxially oriented multilayered packaging material

In one aspect of the invention, there is provided a molded article of crystalline thermoplastic resin with high gas barrier property of which the resin has crystalline and non-crystalline regions, the enhancing effect on gas barrier property of uniaxial-uniplanar orientation of the crystal axis direction of crystallites of said crystalline regions being used and the crystallites orientation being optimized by specific conditions. In another aspect of the invention, the molded article of the first aspect of the invention is further annealed to increase the crystallinity of the crystalline regions. The molded articles in accordance with the present invention have excellent gas barrier properties, and they are not only useful as chilled beef packaging materials, but also useful for retort food packaging, pouch packaging, coating and protecting materials for ham and sausages, processed fish, processed seafood products such as boiled fish paste, dried food for sprinkling, soup powder, parched rice cake, curry powder, spices, vegetables, fruits and pharmaceuticals.

Molded article of crystalline thermoplastic resin with high gas barrier

A disposable tray for medical use comprising at least two layers formed of thermoplastic resin. A first surface layer thereof is peeled to expose a sterile surface, and after use the tray can be disposed of by being folded into two. In use, liquid medicines are contained in recessed portions made in the tray, and medical instruments are placed to rest thereon. Filthy matters are placed in a large recessed portion of the tray.
